I know this comment was about the original proposal;

that's a great Formula E circuit.
...but it sums up my feeling on the current one.

At least it looks like it will be possible to overtake.

at least this version stands a chance of happening not just as a one off but for a good number of years.
As though it’s a good thing!

I'd like to see Laguna Seca. That has decent elevation changes

I have access to accommodation in Hollywood, so I am tempted to try for this one, just might have to share with my in laws, if they are still there at the time...

F1 round Laguna would be dresdful, the track isn't ongoing enough and way too narrow. You'd be lucky to see one overtaking move all race

Might be going to this one myself now. Its my 40th next year, and the original plan was to have a few days in Austin then onto Las Vegas, however could now be a week or two in Florida.

The heat and humidity plus rain chances will be interesting for fans as well as those working on the cars. Very sweaty.

Not a laughing matter.

I'm guessing you are unaware of this but this actually happened and resulted in the death of Gonzalo Rodriguez whilst qualifying his Penske for a CART/Champcar race in 1999.

A clip of the crash is viewable on YT. There's also documentary of him called Gonchi. He was a rated driver during that time and raced against the likes of Montoya and Christian Horner.

My sincerest apologies, I didn't know about that.

My only viewing of Laguna Seca has been the MotoGP and Superbike races there where even the bikes go light on the front end at the top.
