Thought there was only one size - that's the point of the isn't it?

We have an old wheel from a Williams, choosing a wet weather tyre gave it another look, rather than bland rubber.
It never really smelt at all.. had it for quite a number of years now.

Agreed....although they're even harder to get hold of.

Thanks. I noticed the few on EBay but was hoping not to spend £500!

Have found a few other options ranging from £150 depending upon condition. I’m waiting on a few people to get back to me.

All to do with bar codes, so I was told when I was at testing this year! Pirelli produce all the tyres in the factory, its there that they are all allocated to a car/driver for that race.
At the end of that race they are all collected up and returned and destroyed, used or not!

I asked why could they not just reuse the unused ones next time, its all to do with allocation, as the next batch is produced for the next race.

Seems a waste to me but thats F1
Not to mention wasted energy in recycling process.
So much for F1's green credentials

Also noted that back in 2015 you could buy new F1 tyres direct from Pirelli at 400 Euros a piece.
Ha, er maybe show tyres, but not the real thing!

The rear size is 325/660-13, by the way.
