What would the 0-60 etc be of an F1 car?

According to a quick google.
Cornering speed and braking though is on a different level to the Veyrons of this world.
On a track a Veyron and the likes wouldn't see which way it went.
They are about 10 secs a lap quicker than an Indy car at the Circuit of Americas apparently.
Well apart from the Williams which is about 5 seconds faster

I remember in the 90s when some magazine did a performance comparison round a track, with some Fiat thing, a Ferrari road car and their current F1 car. The Fiat was given something like a half lap head-start before the Ferrari set off, which was also given something like a half lap head-start before the F1 set off before beating them both. All a bit vague I know, but given this is PH I'm sure someone else will be along in a minute with a link to the exact article.
The point was, they are inconceivably fast, even when compared to some of the fastest road cars.

0-60 anyone with a driving license and a LOT of money can go out and buy something quicker. Although by 2021 there will be a few sub £100k EV's that will quite comfortably accelerate to 60 faster than an F1 car. Also probably 0-100.Standing quarter

As said above however, on circuit, which by default includes corners, nothing on the planet is going to compare to an F1 car. Nothing commercially available ever will, 'normal' humans wouldn't be able to cope with the forces.
Why do you ask? Do you have a Golf R and looking for F1 equivalent bragging rights?

A bit of googling suggests that quickest hot hatch lap time around spa is 2m56s. That was a fk2 civic which I assume would be somewhat comparable to a golf r. Quickest thing that You’d vaguely describe as a roadcar is a mclaren Senna at 2m25s. Current f1 record is 1m41s. To put that in context I would estimate you could let a mcSenna get maybe as far as even Pouhon before you start a lap in your f1 car and you’d still catch it before the end of a lap.
If you find comparable laps for circuits that’s rely on higher downforce, silverstone or COTA for example the difference will be even more apparent. F1 cars are really, really fast but actually it’s more that purpose made track cars are on another level to road cars from the off, you don’t necessarily need f1 levels of horsepower and development to see that.

As above, it's the braking and cornering that really distinguish an F1 car, or in fact any single seater. They're designed to lap a circuit fast, rather than be fast in a straight line, especially with regard to top speed, because you never get a chance to reach it.
In terms of that braking and cornering, a current F1 car can pull around 6g under braking and cornering, which compares with the Golf R the OP mentioned at around 1g (I suspect a tad lower). 1g means that if your head weighs 5kg, in a fast corner you have a force pulling your head sideways equivalent to lying down on your side without a pillow and your 5kg head being supported by your neck. 6g is like having 30kg on your head, or a long haul suitcase plus hand luggage. Imagine doing that in every braking zone and every corner for 1hr30min
How this translates into lap times is as follows:
Silverstone GP lap times
Golf R: I genuinely don't know, but I'd guess at somewhere in the low 2min40s.
My Lotus 2-Eleven was 2min27 in my hands, so that's roughly what most fast trackday specials will do.
McLaren Senna 2min09 (Chris Harris)
Moto GP: 1min58 (Marquez lap record)
Formula Renault 1:55 (210bhp, 500kg, mild downforce). I owned one of these for a few years, albeit reigned back for UK club racing.
Formula 1 lap record: 1:25.1
So basically the difference between a Golf R and a McLaren Senna is about 30 seconds per lap, and the difference between a McLaren Senna and an F1 car is 45 seconds.

As I mentioned, it's about the corners, not the straights, opening up the conversation to what is important in a lap. Google gives all the 0-60 0-100 info - which means almost nothing unless you're just drag racing.HTH :0)
