GR Quali 2019 vs Yesterday one lap side by side.

https://twitter.com/f1/status/1230263123946475524?...

(Noted that he was on a harder compound and 9/10th quicker)..

Car looks much more stable vs 2019, hopefully they can find some more gains.

It may be unfair, but what excuse for Stroll this year?
I expect him to do well race wise, must sort out Quali, JPM is still coaching him so hopefully we will see some speed, let’s see today.

Gunther Steiner isn't happy, considering the way Force India / Racing Point complained about the Ferrari / HAAS similarity a few years ago. But he can see why you wouldn't copy the Red Bull way of doing things using Mercedes parts. Go with what works for the bits you've got.

Not wishing to listen to Crofts inane drivel ended my viewing of yesterdays testing.. how refreshing to tune in this morning to Palmer,Buxton and Jaques, informed comment and a quality that F1 deserves.
The great quality of Sky`s garage shots deserve far more than that fat buffoon disguising his lack of knowledge with dumbass commentary .. just how long can he hang on ?

Uses the same as last year's Merc. This year's trick New Merc rear suspension is unique for Merc only.

Interesting comments in Hamilton’s steering wheel. Seems to be able to extend on manual input. But no ideas what it’s doing.

Not that it really matters but I never realised how much of a fat mess he was.

Also showed how little room there is. Bodywork is cut out for his hands and looks like his knuckles still graze the cockpit.

Looks to be adjusting the Toe angle very slightly. Love these sorts of things and the intrigue it brings. In the past it would take a couple of races to spot these sorts of things! Now 10 minutes biggrin

10.2.3 No adjustment may be made to any suspension system while the car is in motion.

I wonder if it's simply another way of accessing existing presets/settings?

Better aerodynamics at speed over his hands/wheel? Like a MotoGP rider getting into the optimum position on their bike.

Doesn't look like the suspension is being adjusted - more that the hubs move slightly inward.

Watch a slow-mo..... As he pushes the steering wheel, it's push the toe-out on the front wheels, obviously for a better turn in. On the straight, he pulls it back, bring the front wheels back in and reducing the drag....

Very clever !!!!

Bit like endurance karting when it starts raining and giving the toe-rods a kick too bend them :-)
