I love it when we all fall out on here during one of our mass debates.
That’s why I always mass debate in private.

Apologies if I have missed the whole discussion on this.
Will the teams have been able to change the setup on the cars so they cope with the Kerbs better than last weekend?

It's the Styrian GP, not Syrian.

As I understand it, it's not something that can be overcome by setup - they are just brutal kerbs and the fastest way around the track is to ride them so it just becomes a compromise as to how much you ride them vs car life.

Yes, until quali end = parc ferme at which point no further changes allowed.

They have been making adjustments but in the end an F1 car has extremely limited travel in it's suspension, and those kerbs are aggressive enough to cause damage if they're travelled over too much... Of course they can simply not drive over them!

LH was well off the pace yesterday. It's tempting to think that he or the team must be up to something but he might just be distracted and off the boil. But, if we run with the former, might it be that he's set his car up for wet running?

Asking for information, not to start a fight.

I'm quite excited by this race, but it looks as if I won't be following it live.

Come on McLando.

You can only assume that would be quite a risk seeing as it's only qually that is forecast for rain-not the race.

Now raining so much it's difficult to see the cars... If this continues I can see F1 running being cancelled today. Really hope not.

I don't think it looks too bad at all, standing water in parts but nothing too bad-perhaps the natural gradient helps clear the bulk of it?

Looks proper wet now tbh. Lots of complaints about track conditions.
