A quick scan through NP&E makes it very clear there are racists still amongst us.
Not everyone who criticises Hamilton is racist, of course, and equally clearly some are, that’s plain to see.
yeah, and not everyone who supports Hamilton is an obsessive nutter, but there are some, and that's VERY plain to see Not everyone who criticises Hamilton is racist, of course, and equally clearly some are, that’s plain to see.
Enjoy the race.
what i find funny is there is thread not too far away about another F1 driver in equally 'eccentric' nan type clothing that has pretty much gone with zero comment (well one, for the pedants)
so that either means the repeatedly negative folk on this thread are at best, obsessive ....or worst, well we all know what the worst is

Lewis’s get-ups would not even turn heads if he was, instead, walking in to play an NBA or NFL game.
He’s a sports megastar. That’s what a lot of them look like, for better or worse.
Once you realise that, critics solely of Hamilton show themselves up as perhaps not really connected to the modern world.

A great video. Lovely kids and a reminder that some children need to know that something is possible, to want to do it.Maxdecel said:

Awesome video, much better than the usual stuff the sponsors do with their day at the factory. Three kids who will never forget the day they met Lewis Hamilton. Sandpit Steve said:

Refreshing to see the comments, I nearly didn't bother but obviously you've all had the same reaction as me. Good to see the working side of LH's other involvements that are mentioned but are rarely seen; with the exception of his fashion exploits of course
As you say what a memorable day for them.

Funnily enough both myself and my colleague were talking about him yesterday and saying how at ease he is with kids and just seems a natural, my colleague then directed me to that video.
Yup when he is going through the paddock etc he often stops for kids etc he just seems like a lovely guy.Jasandjules said:

Glad to hear he still does it. Back in Jan 2009 my 9 year old met him and LH found the time to speak to him, ask him questions about school, sport etc - I was really impressed. That was winter testing shortly after winning his first title and despite the day having gone quite badly...
