Lewis Hamilton (Vol. 2)
Discussion
True, they probably would. Ham didn't mention it at the time but ever since has eluded to it many times (Wolf probably more so to be fair) when decisions have been made by the FIA, ie at Monza ending under a SC. I just can't imagine Ham ever having it out with another driver face to face. I suppose its also a sign of the times where it is more common to let your feelings be known online rather than verbally.

Both very good and worth looking at. He’s positive for next year, and beyond. https://youtu.be/LSuuxVyyd2I

He cannot "have it out". Can you imagine the damage that would ensue if a legendary black man did a Schumi/Coultard or Max/Ocon? No, Lewis is far, far and away mentally tough. After AD 2021, we saw the strength of his character when he went and congratulated Max on his fiasco "championship". Anthony too. Can you imagine Jos' reaction if the AD situation was reversed?

As good as he is in the car, he possess about 1% of Senna's charisma out of the car.
It's a bit unfair to compare anyone with Senna in the charisma department... Ayrton appeared to have been beamed in from another planet. I certainly think Hamilton does have a charisma of his own though. He's definitely got an aura about him. Part of this comes from his outrageous achievements, but he also has that charismatic glow that iconic figures develop over time.Sandpit Steve said:

It's really refreshing to read the comments section under the youtube video. It has yet to be infiltrated by angry nutters and is, to date, positive and respectful.
I thought that, then checked the comments under The Race article, I could picture the angry British Middle aged men on their keyboards.ch37 said:

Why is Sir Lewis being compared to Ayrton?
Apart from being able to 'back in' a pre 2010s era F1 car to fastest lap or pole, they seem like fairly different characters.
People often like to compare drivers from different eras I suppose. And of course, Ayrton was always Lewis's personal F1 hero, when he was a kid. Apart from being able to 'back in' a pre 2010s era F1 car to fastest lap or pole, they seem like fairly different characters.

They love Lewis in Brazil. Actually, they have even made him an honourary citizen there.

Something that didn't go down very well with Piquet, as already previously discussed (but subject to moderator pruning, as I recall)PhilAsia said:

Horner, as has been pointed out before, somehow manages to both win and lose badly. I wonder if he will one day end up in mainstream UK politics? He seems to have a lot of the 'qualities' required.
He has. A nasty-minded piece of work..nickfrog said:

Don't ever recall Horner throwing items about and swearing at the camera when things don't go his way.
No, that's not Horner's style. His style is more to push an old lady down the stairs and then swear she slipped and, besides, he was nowhere near her at the time. Toto tends to be honest, even in his outbursts, whereas Horner is a duplicitous snake-in-the-grass.
