OK to be specific, I worked for McLaren F1, Jaguar F1 racing, and Pi Research in the F1 division.
What I worked on I can't say, due to NDAs, beyond saying it was mostly involved in simulation, simulation algorithms, and data analysis.
Did you forget your NDA What I worked on I can't say, due to NDAs, beyond saying it was mostly involved in simulation, simulation algorithms, and data analysis.

Wrote the first graphical display software for McLaren back in the 90s, and wrote the telemetry transmission system for Stewart Racing, that turned up on tomorrow's world
But still, must have been fun. Did you get to any races ?jsf said:
You do have to immerse yourself in the personalities and understand whats going on in the race and padock and know it's not about you, but the fans. Again Murray got that right.
True, Murray wouldn't have come up with an idea that blue flags should be got rid of and still bang on about it even when experienced and knowledgeable people pointed out the obvious problems with such a 'solution'.He wasn't too bad at first though but Sky really seem to have pushed him towards making loud and shouty sound bites to use in ads, pushing excessive product placement and he seems to have developed a belief that he is some sort of F1 celebrity.
Still, better than Legard was.

Maybe it’s just me, I can’t see what Danika Patrick brings to the party, she just seems to repeat what the others say or just agree with them,
The Sky coverage is syndicated to, among other places, the USA, where’s she’s a known face. Apart from that pretty face, not much though. She gives the impression of not really following the details of F1 as a sport. She was a great pundit for the main US broadcaster at the Indy 500, an event with which she’s much more familiar.

But, Murray was never a darts commentator. He wasn't too bad at first though but Sky really seem to have pushed him towards making loud and shouty sound bites to use in ads, pushing excessive product placement and he seems to have developed a belief that he is some sort of F1 celebrity.

Yesterday’s LOL moment was when Lazy’B” asked Jensen if he thought Alonso could be in trouble with the Stewards over the blatant weaving on the last lap.
Jensen “Well they do have the film that we just watched”
I do not get why a specialist sports channel pitch their output towards the level of a 4-year old watching their first race. It is utterly exasperating.

It's been mentioned before but VPN + F1 TV = no Crofty (and no Sky) without doing anything illegal. It's been an absolute game-changer for me this season, cheap too!
I have been considering trying it, but was under the impression that Crofty was still doing the commentary and heard that most BPN’s had been black listed by it. Which VPN are you using? Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
