Seriously? He has no fundamental understanding of motorsport. A little knowledge...
Twice in qualifying today he called out the wrong driver - he mistook Piastri for Norris, and Tsunoda for Ricciardo.
Tsunoda's coverage was on the screen and he said - that's it he's not made it to q3, just as he pulls around the last chicane and goes down the start finish straight to set 10th and get through to q3.
He's rubbish. Utter rubbish. Silence would be better. However poor the engine noise is these days, it's better than Crofty.

Cancelled Sky and now use F1TV, but OMFG, Alex Jacques might be the love child of Croft after all! I honestly thought he would burst a blood vessel during sprint qually, such was his hysterical shouty excitement. At least there's no pointless stats, name-dropping or "the old switcheroo"!
