Nico is an absolute visionary compared to most of SKY’s pundits.

He and Jensen are both excellent, but the depth of Nico’s thinking is exceptional. Also helps that he has “been there; done that: got the WDC” with the hybrid era.

He certainly pushed Lewis hard and won the mind games, but he is definitely the right man for the job.

That sounds like the sort of thing you'd read on an application for Big Brother or Love Island.

I'd prefer to listen to smart, eloquent, experienced pundits who don't need to court controversy to be relevant.

i think thats a little extreme - asking the tough questions is different than making stuff up - better than C4 who just suck up to everyone in every interview.....

I actually don't tend to watch a lot of the pre/post-race punditry (my weekends are always busy - I rarely watch races live), so haven't really formed much of an opinion about Rosberg. I just hate the idea of "stirring up controversy" for the sake of it.

He just grates on me. He seems too interested in himself and his presenting style is quite clumsy.
Same here.

He might be a visionary compared to other Sky pundits, but I just watch highlights on CH4.

He may have won the WDC once against LH like JB, but neither of them did much after that!

And he does seem a bit too smug for me - a one-hit wonder.

Nico's not my cup of tea, the bling bling part with Leclerc at the weekend, jeez that made me cringe. Seeing some of his social media stuff puts me off too.

JB is good, I like the way he comes across. PdR and KC are ok, but Ant Davidson is IMO the best out of those names.

Nothing to bad with Crofty, yes he gets excitable, but if we are honest, if Murray had to deal with all the st on social media like we have now, he'd have been crucified by the armchair experts and there would've been a few replacements that someone somewhere didn't like.

I think overall Sky have a good set up. The older guys, DH, MB, JH are good, maybe JH could be let go and no big loss overall to the show. The younger guys, JB, AD, PdR, KC can fill gaps and take the reins when need be.

I think the current Sky format (even before the Covid) was dreadfully dull and old fashioned.
It’s hard for anyone to look good.

Perhaps Nico would come over better if there was a bit of banter. At the moment he just comes over as just far too pleased with himself.

C4 are more entertaining and they are in some studio in the UK!

Speaks his mind and straight to the point like Eddie Irvine and JV. I think its safe to say that apart from punditry, Nico is completely done with F1 now.

Best pundit is Karun Chandock. Always enthusiastic and engaging. He should be commentating races more when Brundle isn't around.

I can see why others may not like him but i think he's okay.

His practice commentary at Barcelona, explaining many technical aspects, was incredibly interesting.

The technical aspects of F1 are the most interesting and Rosberg does an excellent job of presenting it in a simplified manner.

If people want to be purely entertained then go watch Fantasy Dumb Dumb Island or something moronic.

Different people like different aspects of racing, so your comment are a little bit daft.
