I seriously hope all the drivers enjoy it!

One thing that was interesting from seeing it in the flesh this morning was how different all the cars sound, something I’ve never really picked up on from watching on TV.

The Red Bull has the crackliest exhaust on the overrun, the Haas actually sounds the loudest.

Sky's relentless whoring of the Perez to Williams non-story is beginning to grind my gears.

The continual Sun/Daily Fail level of repetition so they can say "I told you so" is pathetic.

That’s because it’s not a non story, Russell gets them a 4 mill discount on the engines, Perez will bring in 20 mill pa, with the budget cap, and the purchase of the business this summer to be amortised its simply business..

The Williams team principle would not confirm Russell would be driving next year as well today.

Fantastic tracking shot showing the cars sweeping from turn 8 to 9.

May well be the case, but it's not a story until one of the three parties disclose it, all it is now is gossip and rumour-mongering. So mention it once, if you have to & do that when you have the greatest audience, don't do it in the lead up to every session, and then again during every session.

That was a proper fire, and he stopped some way from the marshal post. Very long night for the team fixing that car, could end up being a new chassis and/or new engine parts.

5 place grid place may teach Max a small lesson but Max temper over ride logic most of the time!

Herbert the steward calls it as Stroll’s corner, says that Max should have lifted.

And that is why Max isn't ready to challenge for a world title. He simply doesn't have the head for it.

He's so self entitled it's rediculous. He needs to get away from Redbull to change.

Reminds me of when he got into it with Ocon unlapping himself in Brazil when he really should’ve just let him go.
Post race in the room of awkwardness Lewis pointed it out to him.
It’s a shame, he’s been much calmer this season but that entitlement is still there. He’s under now pressure at RedBull, if he were fighting for a WDC would his red mist moments reappear...?

Yes, today’s incident was similar to that one against Ocon. Something didn’t quiteplay out how he thought it would, and he just wouldn’t let it go on the track, the red mist came up.

The conversation with Max and Lewis that day was funny, as LH reminded his young rival who he was supposed to be fighting for the win - and it was the man who ended up on the top step of the podium, not the man a lap down.
