Reminds me of when he got into it with Ocon unlapping himself in Brazil when he really should’ve just let him go.
Post race in the room of awkwardness Lewis pointed it out to him.
It’s a shame, he’s been much calmer this season but that entitlement is still there. He’s under now pressure at RedBull, if he were fighting for a WDC would his red mist moments reappear...?
He needs a calming influence around him. What he has is Jos an Horner. Post race in the room of awkwardness Lewis pointed it out to him.

Not in real time (due to work) but am now listening to the Radio 5 live FP2 audio.
During the Gasly red flag period they are discussing pay drivers and the super licence requirement.
Jack Nicholls named a number of F2 drivers including Dan Ticktum who would not be unsafe in F1.

Herbert the steward calls it as Stroll’s corner, says that Max should have lifted.
Total agree with Herbert and he is ripping Horner a new one.mick987 said:

No further action between Max and Lance. Lucky boy, the Dutchman.
They would not have wanted to give Max any grid penalty's as that would ruin the race / show. mick987 said:

Thats how I am feeling penaltys are handled these days, There is no black and white rules anymore. If a penalty may impact the only racing going on they will ignore it for entertainment sake. it seems a 5/10 second penalty is decided on how much it will affect the offenders race rather than having a specific penalty for a specific offence. In this case, if max was penalised, nobody (not that he would anyway) challenge the mercedes dominance we have had for however many years now.Baron Greenback said:

They would not have wanted to give Max any grid penalty's as that would ruin the race / show. If the incident happened in qualifying or a race, and someone lost out on on a finish as a consequence, then a penalty would be deserving.

I can see the stewards point. The incident occurred in FP2, so didn't have any bearing on a race or result - ergo the incident can be dealt with by talking to both parties.

Eighteen other cars, and a paying audience, missed out on fifteen minutes of the session and the opportunity to complete their programs for the day. If the incident happened in qualifying or a race, and someone lost out on on a finish as a consequence, then a penalty would be deserving.
