Sergio Perez got handed a one-place grid penalty for F1 Tuscan GP for hitting Kimi Raikkonen during Friday practice. They do not enforce the rules fairly.
Yes, i was thinking the same. Something is not right with Massi and his team. To me it looks like those guys have an agenda and they are targeting certains drivers instead of applying the rules correctly to every drivers. Weird, as soon as Massi was appointed to race director, I was sure that things weren't going to be black and white like with Charlie.

Neither of them should be allowed to get away with saying I didn't know he was there or I didn't expect him to turn in. It's obvious that Stroll was going for another quick lap so if Max hadn't got his nose in front before the corner he should have lifted knowing Stroll would take the racing line. He can't simply say I didn't expect him to turn in, where did he think he was going to go at that speed.
But at the same time Stroll knew Max was starting a quick lap and would have a tow so should he really be that surprised. Both need to take some blame, but like the incident with Ocon it was perfectly avoidable by Max.
Other TPs would probably ask "what were you thinking?" whereas I imagine CH will pat him on the back and blame Lance. Somebody needs to have a proper word with him about his radio messages though, I'm not surprised there have been complaints.

Looking forward to tomorrow and race day now. This circuit is going to pressure a few more mistakes I think. Quali might be a bit of traffic jam/argument but that's ok, fine by me if it leaves us with an absurd grid for the race..
Still loving that we feared we'd get no season but instead we got the most varied and unusual season for decades

At least he hasn't bh slapped anyone off the weighing scales this season. Baby steps...
Although in all honesty I think it might be wise if the FIA step in and penalise him somehow. Perhaps another bout of 'community service'.. He seems to be entirely blind to where the limit is in terms of what is acceptable in 2020. He's a talent and I'd rather he get a reminder now than be left to fk his future with an even worse outburst if left unchecked.

Yeah those radio messages really weren’t great.
With F1 TV now broadcasting all the radio messages in real time and clear, they probably need to make the general point to the drivers and teams before someone says something even more offensive. Apparently the M word used by Max is a Dutch translation of the earlier R word, as opposed to the more offensive version of that word in English. Not sure either are acceptable though, a €1,000 fine would add a few more bottles of Krug to the FIA annual dinner wine fund.

The efforts of everyone involved, to get an F1 season off shouldn’t be underestimated. It’s a huge achievement to have done this in the middle of a global pandemic, when almost no other international sport is taking place. Still loving that we feared we'd get no season but instead we got the most varied and unusual season for decades
For the bonus, we’ve been to and going to a few great circuits we’d not normally see like Mugello, Nurburgring, Portimão and Imola, in place of some boring Tilke-dromes in places with money.

This is the most objective comment on the incident. Reading all the previous posters I thought Max got angry and decided to smack his car into Stroll like what Vettel did to Hamilton once. Having now seen the video footage I see Max did not hit Stroll. It was a 50:50 incident which should have been avoided with a bit of common sense and team communication from both sides. But at the same time Stroll knew Max was starting a quick lap and would have a tow so should he really be that surprised. So the stewards have made the right decision.
