Exciting end to qualifying.

I’m a bit disappointed at the lap times. After yesterday I was expecting the track to ‘rubber in’ and be much quicker.

Edit: Just to say this is a fantastic circuit. Unfortunately it could be a processional race.

Circuit is amazing, the top 4 were all maximising what they had available.

The only negative was Croft shouting all over the end of qualifying, (literally all of the last 4 minutes). Sometimes David you just need to be quiet and sit back and admire the skill on display, it's not the Croft show, it's F1 everyone has tuned in to see.

Well that was bloody fantastic, glad I stayed right till the end! The last couple of laps were simply epic. Watching the cars come through turn 1, they were right on it and totally committed.

Now I’m in the car park melee, but the Mustang is attracting a lot of attention and making some noisy entertainment!

Its for the sky highlight montage at the end of quali or promoting the race during saturday to make it more exciting.

That did actually cross my mind, I guess if you are a casual sky sports viewer, seeing an ad where a baboon is screaming might mean you pay a bit more attention, ultimately it does more harm than good though, back to C4 highlights for me from next year, gave sky a go but Croft ruins it for me.

Sometimes I do wish they would stay on a fixed camera shot for a while and just watch a series of cars through a single corner. Create that sense of being there and seeing how different cars take the corner.
