Come down into Portimao to arrange parking for the weekend, we have ‘yellow’ parking allocated but want something a bit nearer to the entrance, as am just getting over a dodgy ankle. Parking is being sold at the Museu de Portimao.
It’s all a bit of a melee down here, massive ‘motorsport park’ set up, and lots of people come to see it, but nowhere to park, so traffic is a nightmare near the centre of town and sea front!

It's just the angle of your photos, it looks like you're taking them whilst towering many metres in the air in line with the tops of trees and so on

Ahh fair enough! I was just seeking out good vantage points. The last one was taken up in the hills overlooking the circuit.
Now down to one of my favourite beach bars at Porto do Mos for a spot of lunch.

It says there will be shuttle buses from Portimao to the circuit, I plan to use this service if it is available still.

After the torrents of 2 days ago we’re back to blue skies and light winds In the Portimao region today.
The various on line weather forecasts often vary considerably from one another - but the consensus is that the next week or so will bring consistently sunny weather - with the exception of midday-ish on Sunday through until 6pm or thereabouts.
The whole field experiencing Portimao In the wet for the first time in an F1 car on race day.

It's a grand prix, there'll be talk of the rain that might be coming in the days before and even during the race to build up some drama, only for it to stay bone dry as always.The various on line weather forecasts often vary considerably from one another - but the consensus is that the next week or so will bring consistently sunny weather - with the exception of midday-ish on Sunday through until 6pm or thereabouts.
