I assume Franz Tost is a pisstaking millionaire who deserves to be told to fk off. This is a pretty classy way of doing it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSZUkz1BsCs
That’s brilliant.
Ouch!

There's no good way for Tost to take that one is there? Lewis probably being an arse but it's not exactly better if he really doesn't know who he is biggrin

I had to look up who he was. That might say more about me, but it shows he must keep a very low profile. 16 years as team principle and this is all Wikipedia has to say on him:

Can’t wait for Franz reaction to drivers having a say in how much a team Principle gets to earn.. make it success based maybe?

There’s no way Hamilton doesn’t know who Franz Tost is.

Does seem unlikely. But he made his point I think smile

In all seriousness I know who he is and vaguely what he looks like, but I know nothing about him, what his personality is, what he's done to earn the position..

Probably because in reality Horner and Marko run both teams..

He is by far the least visible team principal, certainly on the TV feed anyway.

Of course not. People, including the interviewer, are taking his comment far too literally.

He and Frederick Vasseur of Sauber Alfa Romeo manage to keep a very low profile but they are supposed to be two of the paddock's nice guys, both with a particular strength for bringing on young drivers. In the case of the Red Bull teams, I reckon Tost has a lot to do with the trend for young drivers to thrive in Alpha Tauri until they go to slaugher at Red Bull.

Sky Sports Player is st. It think's I have 0.1mbps internet speed so is displaying everything in what looks like less than 144p. Found some random streaming website which is using the Sky feed and it's so much better.

I watching on my desk on this (iPhone & its perfect), my only grip is this week they have no commentary on the pit lane channel/live multi screen (this week Alex Jacques & Alex Brundle)..

The random streaming website usually works perfectly all weekend, except for Q3 and the race start.

There was an AWS outage yesterday, which is possibly the reason behind the Sky feed being slow. The way these things work, it can take a day or two to recover.

Mercedes treating this like a test session, loads of laps and a second faster than everyone else, only 1.2 seconds from last year’s pole time.
