Watching F1 on TV

The dedicated IP address won't appear on any ban lists - job jobbed.
While I agree it is far less likely, it is still possible that it could appear on a ban list and be blocked. Unlikely, but possible.I’ve changed my VPN to a country which I thought for sure would be blocked, and it’s currently working. And I don’t have a dedicated IP because my VPN provider doesn’t offer that service.

Had been using proton vpn and just frantically trying to get it work to watch now to no avail. Annoying.
I have the same problem. I haven't had time to sort out a dedicated IP as Proton don't offer single dedicated IPs. So, as an emergency backstop, you can try this, but don't judge me! https://metaporky.site/index.php/spa/

Whilst Nord seems to work Ok , the F1TV app will only work on my phone not on the Firestick app. That just has previous sessions, not live coverage. Anyone else have this?
I’ve had that before on a few occasions. Try logging out of the F1 app and then signing in again. If that doesn’t work, log out of the F1 app, reboot your firestick and then sign back in to the F1 app again.Teppic said:

It's only ever happened this weekend, anyone else have this issue? It doesn't matter which location I use on nord FYI,

I've been struggling with lagging and buffering on the F1TV feed as well, also watching via the web browser on my laptop using Surfshark. It's annoying as hell! Speed test comes out at about 41Mbps so it doesn't look like a lack of bandwidth. It's only ever happened this weekend, anyone else have this issue? It doesn't matter which location I use on nord FYI,
Only solution I've found is to change the video quality to the second sttest option, it looks dreadful on a 4K telly but at least the stuttering and glitching has stopped.

I'm never going back to Sky. It's either sorting this out or looking into ARRRRRHHH methods. It's bullst that the whole F1TV production is made in the UK yet we are not allowed the option watch even it.
And after making noises about rolling F1 TV out once the end of being hamstrung by contracts pre-Liberty, what did they do? Signed a new exclusive contract with Sky until 2029.I think the issue is specifically because Sky are UK based, they are very imbedded in the F1 circus and have various contractions with F1 for content etc.

Use Multiviewer for F1 https://multiviewer.app I think it puts in about 30 seconds of buffer plus you can sync it with the live timing, on-boards, etc. Still had it drop down to lower quality a few times yesterday (didn't watch today) but no skipping or stuttering. It's only ever happened this weekend, anyone else have this issue? I have to say, Nord VPN works sporadically (it appears that F1 has the IP addresses of some of their servers but not others). If it stops working, with the quality of the racing this year I'll probably just give up and not watch. I went with a monthly subscription in case this happened.
I've also cancelled my IndyCar Live subscription as I was getting bored of the racing. If anyone fancies trying that it is available in Greece and Multiviewer supports it as well.

Well, after the VPN blocking spree a month ago I set it to the Netherlands to watch the Belgian Grand Prix and it worked.
Today…? Blocked.
Bugger.
Fortunately I had a nice update to my VPN app on my iPad that added three new countries, so I changed it to one of those and it’s working.
I’m starting to run out of countries to choose from though.
