When on F1 TV using the web browser on my laptop, the quality for the F1 TV feed is spot on, when I click onto the international feed it's really laggy, poor quality and buffers every 5 secs.
It's only ever happened this weekend, anyone else have this issue? It doesn't matter which location I use on nord FYI,
Use Multiviewer for F1 https://multiviewer.app I think it puts in about 30 seconds of buffer plus you can sync it with the live timing, on-boards, etc. Still had it drop down to lower quality a few times yesterday (didn't watch today) but no skipping or stuttering. It's only ever happened this weekend, anyone else have this issue? I have to say, Nord VPN works sporadically (it appears that F1 has the IP addresses of some of their servers but not others). If it stops working, with the quality of the racing this year I'll probably just give up and not watch. I went with a monthly subscription in case this happened.
I've also cancelled my IndyCar Live subscription as I was getting bored of the racing. If anyone fancies trying that it is available in Greece and Multiviewer supports it as well.

I set my country to Germany and it didn't work. Went back to Canada and it worked ok, but with the crap quality others have mentioned. The after show was good quality though....
Germany won’t work as, just like the UK, Sky have exclusive rights.rscott said:

I'm never going back to Sky. It's either sorting this out or looking into ARRRRRHHH methods. It's bullst that the whole F1TV production is made in the UK yet we are not allowed the option watch even it.
And after making noises about rolling F1 TV out once the end of being hamstrung by contracts pre-Liberty, what did they do? Signed a new exclusive contract with Sky until 2029.I think the issue is specifically because Sky are UK based, they are very imbedded in the F1 circus and have various contractions with F1 for content etc.

I cancelled Sky simply because I want watching TV any more except F1, and I couldn’t justify the cost just for F1 so I looked at F1TV and the VPN solution. At £60 for the year it was a much more palatable option, but that’s now being killed off by the VPN clampdown despite it not being illegal. So people will turn to the high seas instead and pay their pieces of eight to an IPTV provider. Sky lose. So does F1.
Now if only Sky were to offer their own version of the F1 TV app, or maybe even just licence it from Formula One, then that would be ideal. Hell, I’d even be ok if they charged something like £120 a year for it and split it 50/50 between Sky and F1 - that way Sky could get their £60, F1 could get their £60 and a lot of F1 fans would be happy and Sky’s exclusivity would be unaffected . Offer the app free to Sky viewers who subscribe to Sky Sports (or just Sky Sports F1 for those who still have the legacy pack) so that they can access the live stream and the F1 archive. They could even do it so that the Sky commentary was the only option if they were that precious about it.
It will never happen though. Not in a million years. But it would be nice if they did.
So pay through the nose for Sky, or buy an eye patch and a parrot and sail the high seas looking for illegal streams. Times are hard. More and more people are starting to choose the latter option, or are simply switching off.
And before people say “you can use NowTV and effectively pay per view”, you are still paying for the other Sky Sports channels that you might not want.

They do, it's the NOW TV app and at the start of the season there was an offer of £19/month. Someone else on here has a £21/month voucher available. Get it at the start of the season and cancel it after the last race. Bonus is you get all of the sports channels, not just the F1 channel. But you do also get Crofty.carl_w said:

If anyone is looking to go Legitimate I have some Now TV deals:
Sports only for £21pm for 6 months, 1 month free boost.
I have the same deal for existing NOW customers too.
I’m certainly interested in this. Is that using a voucher code? Sports only for £21pm for 6 months, 1 month free boost.
I have the same deal for existing NOW customers too.

Streaming via Canada here on Nord and working perfectly for the race. No shouty Crofty and some excellent commentary from Jolyon Palmer and DC…very happy. Jonny_ said:
