I’ve just pressed a lot of buttons on my remote and got it working. But through stream selector, or some other app. I’ve signed up for F1TV and their service, so I think I’m in for £13/month.

Either way, I have qually on. I feel I’ve been the biscuit equivalent of the milkybar kid. So have your biscuits after all.

Shouldn’t do this after beers…

Infuriating watching Sky this weekend - I'm a Wolves fan, for my sins, and was watching our game vs Crystal Palace. Mid way throughout the half time ramblings, they cut to the F1 coverage briefly and I managed to look away as I was watching it later on on C4.

Then the same thing happened during the Arsenal v Man Utd where they cut to the podium celebrations at half time. I'd spent all day avoiding the somewhat predictable winner, but I still wanted to watch blind later. WTF would they do that?

F1tv is constantly hanging for me. And won’t connect to my tv from my phone. Was better a few races ago. Now almost ready to bin it.

Sounds like a setup problem.
Every other service connects to my tv. Only f1tv is an issue. It’s generally only an issue when showing live with a vpn.

Might be a caching issue. Try clearing your browser cache and trying again. I had a similar problem when I accidentally connected to F1TV without using the VPN - I realised straight away and disconnected but after that it wouldn't play even when connected via the VPN correctly, until I cleared the cache.

I have noticed the last two races the stream has been more laggy than usual, after the whole VPN debacle. Seemed to only affect the Sky feed as well for some reason, was doing it on playback of old sessions and the live one a little bit for Monza.

Having it on the "International" F1 feed seemed to sort it.

I currently depend on SKY Q because I work weekends. So I need to record races and to avoid finding out the results I tend to watch them as soon as possible. However, as we all know Sky is not cheap.
Therefore, I was wondering If I had a decent VPN setup and obtained an F1TV subscription would I be able to stream the race shortly after it finishes?

This is me. Sky gave me the ability to record. Living situation left me without sky so I went VPN route. It works beautifully (apart from the little hiccup a few weeks back). I watch them in the evening, have started when it was still airing and it works every time.

Weary about them blocking me, I pay monthly so I don’t lose out £70 if they do.

Even if the race is still going you can stream from the start of the race start build up.

The main F1TV website will never show the results on the homepage.

Just make sure you don't get mixed up with the official Formula 1 webpage as they do post full result spoilers on the mainpage. Easily done with the auto type webpage on browsers banghead

I'm convinced Sky would generate more money if they went back to £5 a month extra for the F1 again rather than the £18 they ask now.

Even £9 would be more tempting, especially if you could still opt in and out month by month like before.

Humm, just tried to watch the qually using steam locator and it’s showing pre, post and highlights but no actual qually. Wondering if this is a limitation of SL, or Sky forgot to put the session up?

Anyone else having issues, or seen it and it’s working?!

Weird, rebooted the fire stick and it’s there. But still with VPN and the F1 app it won’t let me play. SL works.

This morning with NORD, it worked perfectly, no buffering, or reduced quality, not sure if its because its early in the morning, or whether they have a more stable server.

I had a bit of stuttering, but it was always on the pit lane camera so I think it was the camera rather than the network.

I noticed earlier that I was watching via nord uk server and had no issues.

Previously I’d been using Canada as uk / virgin media didn’t work on the app.

The instant live replay is proper. Delayed On demand available the second the race starts. Gone are they days of finding the sky box has had an issue and not recorded so you have to wait around avoiding social media as they don't make it available for on demand or replay for hours.
