Hamilton V’s Bottas - Sir Lewis, obviously.

Verstappen V’s Perez - Max will hammer Checo on Saturdays, but on Sundays it will be a LOT closer than many people think. Checo is a points machine, and an absolute master of tyre management.

Leclerc V’s Sainz - Leclerc, but Sainz will be much closer to him than Seb was.

Alonso V’s Ocon - This is an interesting one. Ocon was battered by Danny last year, and Alonso is 38 and has had two years out of the sport. I’ll go for Ocon.

Ricciardo V’s Norris - This will be very, very close but I will go for Ricciardo.

Vettel V’s Stroll - I hope we see the real Seb back this year, and I will be cheering him on.

Gasly V’s Tsunoda - Gasly, by a distance.

Raikonnen V’s Giovanazzi - Giovanazzi.

Schumacher V’s Mazepin - On the basis of their performances in F2 last season, Schumacher. I’m yet to be convinced that he would be in F1 if his name was Mick Schmidt, however. We’ll see.

Russell V’s Latifi - This will be the most one-sided contest on the grid, again. A future WDC vs a below average pay driver.

Not really sure what else the lad can do, Won F3 title, Won F2 title, Ok he takes 2 seasons to get going. Starts career under mothers name to stay out of the limelight. He wasn't going to be able to hide who he was forever, hes the spit of Michael.

I for one hope he puts on a good show at HAAS and moves up like Charles did.

All fair points. Good luck to the lad. I wish him well.

Well we're getting into the meat of the season and it's all panning out... not exactly as we all suspected huh?

One thing I do think, despite poor car performance is the strongest pairing might just be Leclerc and Saintz.
