Some of the continuity is odd.
Ep 1. Honer goes to his DBS on his drive. Then the front shot of him driving is a V12 vantage. Next shot is the side of the car that says DBS.
That's nowt, most of the cuts of the pit lane and prat perch were at different circuits to the one being discussed. It doesn't matter.Ep 1. Honer goes to his DBS on his drive. Then the front shot of him driving is a V12 vantage. Next shot is the side of the car that says DBS.

I've watched most of episode 1. Is it correct that Williams, Russel & Grosjean's crash don't feature?
Not much on Williams and Russell. But there is most of an episode dedicated to the crash. The episode is called Man on Fire. Grosjean's crash doesn't get any easier to watch, it does show how close the medic really was getting to the fire to try and help Grosjean out of the car. The heat must've been ridiculous!

It's really good, but I don't remember a single face to face interview with Russell in the whole series, and I don't think Latifi even gets mentioned. He might appear briefly in the first episode when they have all the drivers standing together on the grid.....

Yep it was hilarious, you could just sense the tension whenever Vettel was going to say something, I also loved the way she told LeClerc off for being on his phone in the press conferences, which TBH I agreed with, it looks crap and unprofessional, like that time a few years back when Hamilton was dicking about on Snapchat during a press conference.
I think some of the editing is quite entertaining, for example with MickSchu getting his experience day at Alfa, he was saying to camera how it was good to see how a real team works on a race day and words to that effect, they cut to him sat in a conference room looking keen to pay attention and Gio is sat playing with his phone Jordan210 said:

I'm glad I'm not the only one sad enough to have noticed this particular cut Ep 1. Honer goes to his DBS on his drive. Then the front shot of him driving is a V12 vantage. Next shot is the side of the car that says DBS.

See also, Binotto on the pit wall at 'Monza' with a completely different circuit map taped up in front of him!
But overall i enjoyed the series as always.
Maybe that's why Ferrari were so crap last year... But overall i enjoyed the series as always.
Ferrari: "Seb, you're losing time braking in to turn one, take it flat out"
Seb: "It's a chicane?"
Ferrari: "Nonsense, keep it pinned"

Even when as a driver you know those barriers are polystyrene or similar, it's still got to give you brown trousers barreling towards them unable to slow down.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-NuS1iPwFc

I was thinking Monaco car setup at Monza but that's brilliant

Apparently, Emmuanelle Pirro thought they were concrete and it was all over:

He is such a nice guy, not seen that before. I can imagine that gave him sleepless nights for a while!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-NuS1iPwFc

The continuity and artistic license taken with the editing are really annoying me for some reason, I know that's how TV works, but I'm not sure I can be bothered watching all the episodes, watched the first 4 or 5
Irrespective on whether you decide to watch the rest, make sure you watch episode 9 about the Grosjean crash. It was pretty good but it struck me that a few BIG moments were left out of the season
A lot was made of people ‘trying to stop’ Hamilton from breaking Schumachers record, and yet nothing was really shown of the incredible race in Turkey.
Would it have hurt them to show that iconic shot of gasly on the podium?
Every time hamilton was mentioned it seemed he was getting a penalty lol
I enjoyed the show but it is getting close to a bit ‘daily Mail’ and sensationalist...making stories out of nothing while missing the important things
Think I enjoyed Season 2 more...although Bottasses..... well Bott-ass was a highlight :-p
