I won't lie, I'm quite pleased with that result!

I do like the way it gives me something else to focus on during the race.

Bring on next year!
Well done. Are you willing to give any insight and commentary on your season? Did you manage to get the timing right with your team selection? Was there a bogey driver or team that delivered for you? Were there any knee jerk changes that you later regretted?

I used to run a fantasy football league years ago and the winner each year had to share some insight and it was always interesting to hear how the season really went.

Happy to. No particularly clever strategy, but I think I scored pretty consistently most weekends. I used 5 of the 6 available free changes.

Team started off with Perez as the main driver, along with Alonso, and can't remember the third. Always had Red Bull as a manufacturer, started the year with Aston Martin and Haas.

I timed the switch from Aston to McLaren and Haas to Williams well, but more by luck than judgement.

Team finished as:

Max, Lando and Albon. Red Bull, McLaren and Williams.

Predictions are always a bit of a lottery, I think I only managed one completely correct podium all season. Went with Max as default pole and winner, which I doubt was a unique choice.

One weekend I forgot the predictions completely, and one weekend I misunderstood the rules when Max had a penalty I didn't realise he'd still get points for pole, even though he wouldn't end up starting from pole.

From the season review section on the website:

Best world ranking: 243
Worst world ranking: 1278
Final world ranking: 402

There's no real way to add this is without making it sound like I'm loudly blowing my own trumpet, but I think I topped the PH league in 2020 and 2021 too...!

Interesting stuff. Sounds like good timing on team changes. I love the way the values change based on form to add to the strategy. It’s reassuring you missed a round of predictions.

I'm in, I'll try and remember to do the predictions this year, might get a few more points this year. Although I doubt it smile

I'm still top on my screen.

Maybe it's a ploy to make us all feel good before the inevitable pasting. biggrin

Whilst I was very tempted to make a pun based on Horner's current allegations as my team name, I thought that might age like lukewarm milk if and when more details come out.

So instead I decided to help out one of the other big off-season stories as this is going to be the only way Andretti Cadillac are part of F1 anytime soon!

Here's to another season of mid-table mediocrity. beer
