I booked mine with the tickets weeks ago. They were available to download with my grandstand tickets.
Didn't realise you had to book parking separate to Grand Stand tickets. None (parking) available for the Sunday. Looks like I'll have to go Park and Ride...

Haven't received the email yet but logged in again using the PC this time and I can see that I can now download the tickets.

There is still parking available on the Silverstone Schools Parking website. Profits go to the village school. The parking site in West End is a one mile walk to the main gate of the circuit.

Good that it's going ahead, though I suspect there will be a percentage that will not want to attend due to the ongoing situation, question is will a rollover or refund be available if it's personal choice not to attend ?

At this late stage I doubt it? I mean we've already been offered refunds or hang out for the exact scenario of it going ahead haven't we?

Mind at this point Silverstone could probably resell em.

Am waiting on this, if the mandatory pre and post PCR test is still in place for the pilot events, either Silverstone will be paying it or we're not going, at current prices that's more than double our Saturday GA ticket costs.

See FoS has the go ahead also, so am tracking that thread for the same info.

Just been confirmed that FoS is a negative lateral flow test or both doses to attend.

How is both doses proven?

I have the card but my understanding was that it wouldn't be valid, pretty easy to forge one TBF, and that the health passport would have to be setup which I don't believe is officially on the table at this stage?

NHS app is what I have been led to believe will act as a de facto vaccine passport.

That would be great news, my second jab is a couple of days after the GP but I'm in the age range I can pull it forward. We've got piles of LFT tests from school.

Kids are buzzing today, they each got a signed promo card from Russell and Latifi, so kudos to Williams for following through on my request (albeit from a long time ago). I'd forgotten I'd asked. Got a polite refusal from Mclaren due to the amount of requests.

Second dose at least 14 days before the event plus the evidence of it being done from the NHS app (or LFT's) just have to wait for Silverstone / Goodwood to 100 % confirm what's required

Feel sorry for the poor dogsbody on the gate checking everyone's tickets and medical history.

It's a QR code on the NHS app, as they have scanners for the ticket codes hopefully they can link this together, or it's going to be 2 queues, one for the Covid info then into the ticket line, guess we will all just have to suck it up then enjoy it once you are in smile

I think the only way they can do this is to pull people into a check line at random and check a few % to ensure compliance.

Confirmed as above - full crowd with either proof of double vaccination or a negative Lateral Flow Test within 48 hours of the event:
https://www.silverstone.co.uk/news/silverstone-wel...

My second dose is the weekend after so I'll be doing the test route. Not sure how you prove when your LFT was done though; presumably it'll have to be done at an official site rather than at home?

Edit: ah, you can register a home test result online.

Going all 3 days and I won’t have had my second dose by that weekend. 3 tests on successive days and posting them off will add an extra organisational challenge to the weekend…

Edit: Oh a home test without posting it off counts? Much easier then.

The BBC article is misleading/wrong (my bold below)...

"All adults attending will have to be fully vaccinated and be in possession of a negative test for COVID. The rules for children have not yet been revealed"

Yeah, the Silverstone site says it's either or:

We can confirm at this stage that ticket holders will be asked for either proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of arrival at Silverstone. Or, proof of full vaccination, the second dose having been received at least 14 days prior to the first day of attending the British Grand Prix.
