Good that it's going ahead, though I suspect there will be a percentage that will not want to attend due to the ongoing situation, question is will a rollover or refund be available if it's personal choice not to attend ?https://www.telegraph.co.uk/formula-1/2021/06/18/b...

At this late stage I doubt it? I mean we've already been offered refunds or hang out for the exact scenario of it going ahead haven't we?Mind at this point Silverstone could probably resell em.

See FoS has the go ahead also, so am tracking that thread for the same info.

I have the card but my understanding was that it wouldn't be valid, pretty easy to forge one TBF, and that the health passport would have to be setup which I don't believe is officially on the table at this stage?

How is both doses proven?

NHS app is what I have been led to believe will act as a de facto vaccine passport.I have the card but my understanding was that it wouldn't be valid, pretty easy to forge one TBF, and that the health passport would have to be setup which I don't believe is officially on the table at this stage?

Kids are buzzing today, they each got a signed promo card from Russell and Latifi, so kudos to Williams for following through on my request (albeit from a long time ago). I'd forgotten I'd asked. Got a polite refusal from Mclaren due to the amount of requests.
Confirmed as above - full crowd with either proof of double vaccination or a negative Lateral Flow Test within 48 hours of the event:

My second dose is the weekend after so I'll be doing the test route. Not sure how you prove when your LFT was done though; presumably it'll have to be done at an official site rather than at home?
Edit: ah, you can register a home test result online.

Going all 3 days and I won’t have had my second dose by that weekend. 3 tests on successive days and posting them off will add an extra organisational challenge to the weekend…
Edit: Oh a home test without posting it off counts? Much easier then.

The BBC article is misleading/wrong (my bold below)...
"All adults attending will have to be fully vaccinated and be in possession of a negative test for COVID. The rules for children have not yet been revealed"
Yeah, the Silverstone site says it's either or: "All adults attending will have to be fully vaccinated and be in possession of a negative test for COVID. The rules for children have not yet been revealed"

We can confirm at this stage that ticket holders will be asked for either proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of arrival at Silverstone. Or, proof of full vaccination, the second dose having been received at least 14 days prior to the first day of attending the British Grand Prix.
