I've a spare Friday ticket, its outside roaming, and if these tts running this country ask for anymore proof of a jab, then I'll make it 2 spare tickets!!!
Don't want or need a 'smartphone', and sick to death of everything having to be sorted by an 'app'.
PM and make offer for ticket, face value is £99.

I’m taking my two sons this year for our first British Grand Prix - weekend tickets in Village, £600+ (ouch)

I’ve got my digital tickets, but even though it says weekend tickets, they only say Friday on them. I’m assuming I will need Saturday and Sunday ones too, but they aren’t available to download. I’ve contacted them but not heard anything.

Anyone had similar issues?

The app does not work for me and won’t work for “some weeks”….. so I am hoping my printout showing my jabs is good enough.

My old tablet wont accept app either, but you can ask for a paper confirmation of your jab status via the UK.gov website, it that doesn't work, then sod it I'll sell both my tickets + parking slots.

Thank you. I have just tried to get logged in via the web based NHS Covid thing rather than the app. Had to photo my driving licence and do a short video so this might work!

I will be there this year, having booked for last year. I've got 2 x tickets for the whole weekend, but my wife can't come on Friday/Saturday.

My query for PH is, can I bring along someone else for those 2 days as the tickets don't seem to have names on...?

As long as they were double jabbed/tested and tickets don't get registered under their name on arrival (which would then mean wife can't come Sunday) I would've guessed so... Thoughts?

Now also need to see about getting myself tested before the event as I've only had 1 jab!

I've just read the FAQ's and it all looks promising.

No masks or social distancing of any kind inside the event.

No LFT test required for under 11's (my daughters 10 so one less thing to faff around with)

Best of all, 3 day grandstand tickets are roaming access on the Friday and Saturday so we'll get to watch qualifying, sprint race and actual race from 3 different viewpoints.

Can't wait now

I mix and match as I take clients and friends / family on different days. The only issue I have had is for the F1 paddock(s) as they often put a wristband on you on Day One that is hard to remove and give to others for Day Two and Three ...

I won't download the App either but you can get a letter via the NHS website that is collected from your GP if double jabbed or you can take the LFT at least 48 hrs before attending and get that confirmed via a PDF / email.

Much appreciated. I could be wrong but I don't think I have paddock access so that's probably not an issue, I can't recall, my wife booked it as a present last year!!

This is my route …… test on myself, enter negative on the web site, get the email.
Not exactly the most failsafe process I have ever encountered!

Be aware that for the app, the covid pass is valid for 48 hours once activated - seems funking absurd as you've either had the stinking jabs or you havent - but I'd closely check any other form of "pass" issued.

just got my NHS paper copy of proof of vaccination (the batteries cant run out on a paper copy) through the post today and it has no expiry date, so all set smile

Dont need to arse about with your GP, you can apply online (just needs name, DOB and address) and it turns up within 5 days.

I take it, being a Gov test event, there will be no face masks once inside ?

Nirvana !

No masks or distancing once on site. If you're getting the park and ride you'll need a mask on there but that's it.

So if you arrive for camping on say Thursday night having done a LFT on Thursday would this still be valid for Sunday or would you have to do another one?
You will have to do another one.

"If I am attending for 3 or 4 days do I have to present two lateral flow tests given that I will be at the circuit over more than a 48 hour period?
Yes, if attending the event for more than one day you will need to take a lateral flow test every 48 hours and report the result in order that you can present proof each time you enter the event."

Not quite true. Only the circuit itself, the campsite at the golf club and the museum are in the Event Research Programme, so if you are at an inside area on another campsite for example, you will also need a face mask there.

Porsche cup commentator just said they aren't coming to Silverstone although he schedule on Silverstone website doesn't reflect this.

Any idea if/what they'll put on instead? Weekends already looking a little thin with no F3 and the woodlands campsite having its entertainment pulled!

Don't get me wrong we're stoked to be goingbiggrin. But thinking now of only rocking up maybe Friday lunchtime - assume this isnt an issue with woodlands camping.

Well, seeing as both the Silverstone schedule and Porshe Supercup website say they're coming, I'm not sure who i believe?

edit: found this tweet, so commentator correct - that does leave a bit of a disappointing hole in Friday

I guess it's a bit of an ask - particularly so as we're technically still under restrictions anyway - to rustle something up. I'm wondering if something mad and fun from the BTCC support like the mini challenge cup could drop in but of course they have jobs and commitments

You'd think one of the UK-based series would jump at the chance, even if takes a bit of doing; something like the Ferrari challenge, where competitors a bit less likely to mind a bit of extra cost and hassle to get on the GP weekend?
