Thinking about doing the Saturday and got down to paying for the tickets only to find an additional £7.50 'handling fee' per ticket being added to the thick end of £300 cost of the tickets. I kind of imagined you'd be given a code to print off the tickets. Apparently not, but £7.50 per ticket for delivery seems a bit rich.

They're e tickets, you'll receive an email with download pdfs which you either store on your phone or print off.
The 7.50 is for the privilege of being granted a ticket..

Just been invited. Heading on Friday. Inner track Fusion lounge?

Seems it's the furthest walk from the copse tunnel.....

Never been before, What's the traffic like on Friday? Aiming to arrive about 10 or 11am, Is that a daft time to aim for? Going to take our time walking back to the car so don't mind leaving later.

This may have been mentioned before, apols if it has

Been trying to download my e-tickets tonight, what a fking faff. Couldn't do it, just wouldn't work at all. Then I noticed the following on the Silverstone website

"We wanted to make you aware that due to the implementation of our new ticketing system, we are not able to show your previous ticket purchase history. Please don’t worry, this does not mean we have lost your booking just that we cannot show you the details. Moving forward any new bookings will be shown in your purchase history. Please refer to your email confirmation to view your booking details or if you require further assistance contact our customer service team enquiries@silverstone.co.uk

What IT genius thought their busiest time of the year was a good time to release a new system.

Anyway did a bit of googling and it seems I'm not the only one having problems, seems worst with the Chrome browser, someone suggested using Safari as it worked for them, thankfully it worked for me too.

Last drama of the weekend hopefully.

Had no problems downloading my tickets. However just had email to register my car for the car park. Open link, lists my details but nothing to click on and nowhere to enter my car details. Tried in Chrome and Edge. Will email them.

Did you choose circuit parking or park and ride when you bought tickets? Both of them were an additional cost. I have bought the Circuit Parking for the M40 side.

I only got the email 10 mins or so ago, but as said the link provided is next to useless! Have just emailed them.

The best thing is that it says if you don't register, you risk getting a Penalty Notice!

Our e-tickets popped up yesterday. Also booked the NationalExpress bus from Oxford to the circuit. Not ideal times, 8am departure, 5:30 departure from the circuit, but I'm just happy to see the race! Only have 30 mins to get from Club to the bus, hopefully it'll be ok.

Is there priority for buses? We done P&R a few years ago and think we went a bus only route, so got in quick.

Also ordered some COVID tests, as I've only had 1 jab so far, will need to do on close to the day.

Circuit parking - my e-ticket for parking says:

16/07/2021 00:00

Circuit Parking Weekend (M1 Vehicle Pass)

AREA BLOCK ROW SEAT
Circuit Parking Circuit Parking

and then a bar code. Have seen nothing about entering car details.

Yeah I got an e ticket for parking in my download area too, so I've downloaded that.

You should get an email shortly, with a link, a page will open with your booking number, last name, and email address. Then a box below those telling you which parking you booked. When you click on it, it will open a box to type in your reg and you then just submit.

The link just worked for me now so I'm all sorted. I'd send you the link but it looks like its personalised. As I'm in the M40 parking they may still be in the process of sending the emails out.

This seems a bit of a faff. I click the link in the email - the three boxes are there - with my data. Nothing else to click - no buttons, nothing.

Think I will sit and wait.

Thats exactly what I had. Tried in different browsers and everything. After I sent an email it worked laugh

Give it 10 mins or so and try again. I agree it is a bit of a faff. I'd honestly much rather have it all sent in the mail.

I've got a similar issue with Donington atm. I'm going to the British GT this weekend and have parking at Starkey's for Sunday. Except my e-ticket makes no mention of this whatsoever. Emailed them and got a generic response telling me to phone their booking line.

Why use these systems if they just cause hassle?

Got it to work - have entered the registration - now waiting for the pass.

I am assuming I can park in any circuit car park ... based on this in the Silverstone F1 parking guff:

Silverstone said:

The direction you select in the booking process is non-binding and for operational purposes only. You’ll be able to arrive from a different direction on the day of the event.

I'm guessing the parking will be signed up. It just doesn't really matter which side you come in to end up on Dadford Road.

There is a free shuttle with your hospitality. It is too far to walk, even if they let you walk. The only way is down the access road that leads to The Wing and they will probably have restricted access.

I’m having the same problem. I will try again tomorrow to see if the problem is resolved.

It should work in 10 mins or so.

I've had my parking pass email now, so all good to go!
