I’m there on Sunday, schedule looks a bit thin
Masters Historic Racing has now replaced the Porsche race. In 2019, which was the last normal year, there was a 40 minute F3 race, starting at 10, a 45 minute F2 race, the 30 minute Porsche race, and then the F1 race.
This year there is a 1 hour 5 minute F2 race, starting at 10:40 (to allow extra time to get in because of the Covid requirements), a 15 minute historic cars demonstration, the 35 minute Masters race, and then the F1 race, so the track time is exactly the same.

The app does not work for me and won’t work for “some weeks”….. so I am hoping my printout showing my jabs is good enough.
My old tablet wont accept app either, but you can ask for a paper confirmation of your jab status via the UK.gov website, it that doesn't work, then sod it I'll sell both my tickets + parking slots.pablo said:

There is no way I’m walking a seven year old from Copse, via Wellington Straight, to Stowe…. And back.
Err, why? It's only 2-3 miles at most. At a guess it’s closer to six miles, I just don’t get why access is so poor and everything so spread out. Two weeks later at the classic event, there will be loads more activities and things to interest kids, shuttle buses, greater freedom on the infield…. but no Hamilton.
I just don’t get why they claim to be family friendly when it’s anything but. Knowing she loves Prescott and Shelsley Walsh makes me happy though, cheap, friendly, free seating, no £10 dog burgers or tat shops, max 1kms of walking, oh and faster cars
May or may not this year as probably won't be there till Friday anyway, despite hating the current situation I'm also not excited to be back out somewhere big, it doesn't feel special.

So I still cannot download or even find a link for my E-Tickets. Many emails to Silverstone not helping. Does anyone have a phone number for them as I can't see any numbers at all on their website?
TX.
Have you tried turning ad-blockers off? I use the Brave browser and the link wasn't there for me until I turned the shields off.TX.

I didn’t think it was logical either, and one link to mine I have simply fails with some syntax error or whapity. TX.
Have you had emails from them? Like the one 29 Jun “All you need to know”?

Was just tinkering with hotels etc for Silverstone. Even easyHotel in Milton Keynes for a Double Room with Window £550 for 3 nights Thurs-Sun.
I only paid £155 for them when I booked last year! But this mark up is small compared to Premier Inn etc, who were quoting £1500. Bonkers.
Luckily my family like to faff - I might have mentioned this before. There were more of us going originally, some changed their minds and I had to get a refund from Silverstone for some tickets. Seems I forgot to cancel one of the rooms!
So before I cancel the room, can it assist anyone? PM me. Probably have a few days, but I will cancel it on Sunday.
Have you tried Airbnb? Price gouging may be as bad though. Friends of ours were going to put their long boat on there but didn’t bother in the end. Would have made an interesting alternative! No - have not considered that. I now am wondering what the ethical stance is on me booking a room through booking or hotels, then "sub-letting" via AirBnB. It does not sit right with me, though "advertising" here is probably similar! I was genuine when I booked all the rooms. You know what it is like when you organise stuff - others don't quite understand the impact of saying - yeah I'll go. Partly my fault for being the conduit I suppose.
The room is still up for grabs. I don't want to make money out of it, I will simply cancel Sunday night if no-one messages me. Looking at the website though, it is really really basic!! has a window though, which is nice.

Lol, will likely be far more interesting than the stuff you are paying 300 quid for,
I am moving to the area the week beforehand, Thank God before the races, I would never dream of going there, but thankfully will be all done by then and can tune out the drivel
I know you're only trolling or whatevs, but genuinely if you have such contempt for F1 how is it you find yourself on page 11 of the going to Silverstone thread?I am moving to the area the week beforehand, Thank God before the races, I would never dream of going there, but thankfully will be all done by then and can tune out the drivel
I mean I care not a jot for football and despite our teams triumphant march I'm not even aware of what day the finals on or what the score was the other night. So long as the fkers don't split the video screens at Silverstone like they did the other year, it's a world I'm happily ignorant of.
