sounds like the restructuring that was being talked about even before Abu Dhabi will mean Masi will probably not be fulfilling his current role next season. i expect he will be put in charge of checking barrier safety or something closer to his original purpose before the loss of Whiting.

Oh look more patronising the fans… “if the stewards voided the race Max would still be champion”Yes, but LH was winning, so that means the championship still changed hands only because of the race director / FIA’s failure.
"Peter Bayer, newly appointed as the FIA's head of F1, said: "Michael did a super job in many ways. We told him that"
- many... just not all [hehe]

He certainly ensured people are talking about F1 in the off season.. Reminds me of that motivational poster “always consider that the whole output of your life may be to act as a warning to others”.
Think he qualifies for that now.

The amount of spin coming from the Red Bull camp about how Max’s championship is not tainted has been unbelievable, to the extent I am not sure if they are trying to convince the fans of the sport or themselves anymore.sounds like the restructuring that was being talked about even before Abu Dhabi will mean Masi will probably not be fulfilling his current role next season. i expect he will be put in charge of checking barrier safety or something closer to his original purpose before the loss of Whiting.
It will be interesting to see how the whole sport deals with the FIA basically saying “yep, Masi got it wrong, so we have sacked him”.
If that isn’t an admission that the championship is tainted, then I don’t know what is.
