CoulRBRthard if I recall{?}
Already referenced a few pages back. It was Coulthard, while being lapped by Schumacher, in appalling wet weather with monsoon levels of standing water and spray.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yN10hXcuCzo
Totally lifted (not braked) on the racing line, not visible due to the spray, and Schumacher smashed into the rear and finished the lap on three wheels before retiring and having to be pulled off coulthard in the pits.
Absolute dick move by coulthard which makes it even more laughable him trying to blame lewis for saudi.
Would love to have seen Lewis do this to max post-race. Would be great for someone to knock some sense into him, as the FIA aren't going to.

As for intent, that was certainly a possibility. Just before the contact Macca was telling DC "he's right behind you". Most people thought that they were letting him know, but there were a few that thought that it was very suspicious, given that Hakkinen was out of the race and Schumacher would have gained 10 points.
I don't think it was malicious by the way, DC was never a dirty driver

In hindsight it is surprising RB did not protest Lewis's car for being underweight following the incident.
Thought that Redbull GAVE you wings...obviously all lies. : Edited by Milkyway on Wednesday 8th December 16:19

If Masi didnt get involve and start negotiations during the 2nd red flag what punishment would the stewards have given max?
It depends on the gap to Hamilton. The penalty received should or would of been based on getting Hamilton back in front. So could of been 5 seconds or even a stop go depending on how much further up the road he was. I might be wrong and he might of got a 5 second penalty but if that’s the case I would just cut half the track and be away and take the 5 seconds.

I'd love to see ddom and honda exige on a track with their own cars with someone who drives like Max does, and see them defending the moves he's pulled on them. I somehow don't think they'd be saying the same thing.
Stick them both on track in any high performance kit, and I would be happy to perform an Albon recreation demonstration. Not much kit will manage 2.4g deceleration, but we could see how they commit to pass a weaving vehicle on a narrow track and avoid a brake test from a couple of car lengths.HocusPocus said:

I was accused of tangental witchcraft pretty much
Max thinks it's unfair he is treated differently too - maybe the FIA should listen?
"At the end of the day, criticism, that's always there," Verstappen said. "But I think from my side, what is unfair [is] that I am treated differently to other drivers."
For the actual context...

Apparently 2 other drivers did the same as Max last weekend.
For example Lewis - Other people do exactly the same thing and they get nothing, because both of us were off the track," Verstappen said. He seems to have forgotten what happened in Brazil very quickly.

He’s obviously forgotten that Lewis was only off the track because he was avoiding being hit by him "At the end of the day, criticism, that's always there," Verstappen said. "But I think from my side, what is unfair [is] that I am treated differently to other drivers."
