She doesn’t need money. She has plenty already

If it was about money, it’d be solved by now
How do you know how much money she has and how much she 'needs'?
I know some people well connected enough in the paddock to know that she is not after money and that she has plenty of it already.
Even if she has money, it doesn't automatically mean money isn't a factor in her decisions.

And these ‘people’ you know must be extremely well ‘connected’ to be privy to her bank accounts.
This is about the Red Bull power play, not money for the complainant. I'm sure she wouldn't turn money down as a by product, but if it was about that then Yoovidhya would have just cut a large cheque and made it go away.

You don't need bank account passwords to know if someone has money.
Is this more info from your paddock pals, or just stuff you've gleaned from the internet like the rest of us?

It's always about the money. In the civil legal system money is the only mechanism/method of compensation or redress!

It isn't, but it's the most common.

There are different types of award in civil law. amongst other things and in no partifular order a court can be asked to make a declaration, nullify a public body decision, order a lower ET to revisit a decision, order specific performance of a contract, injunct someone to stop them doing something/make them do something, order they be reinstated by an employer, commit for contempt. Sure I'll have missed a few. Monetary recompense is by far the most common but not the only outcome.

Some people want their day in court to tell their story and see their views vindicated by a Court.

Indeed. Wanting wider society to be able to critique their hand and mouth work on their boss is a common need. On other occasions it's merely a result of a large enough number not being offered and the other side being of the view that they aren't worth offering any more to which can cause horrendous emotional trauma discovering how little money someone with lots more values them at.

The big shot was hoping more people would crawl out of the woodwork, which doesn't appear to have happened and no additional money was lobbed in so we are now in the 'friend says' media phase to help bolster the victimisation angle and the hopes that the generally ratcheting pressure will deliver a better offer although the longer it runs the greater the risk of having to become some kind of faux figurehead for a movement and getting SFA as a result. Of course there is Bono's charity single and always a book to be written on how best to nosh off a boss who's pathetic enough to try it on with a junior employee in the 21st century.

Wow! Your thoughts are akin to the ebb and flow of the tide, the soft glow of a morning rise and evening set of our glowing, glorious orb. It's a Monet, a Coleridge, a warm embrace...

Thank you.

His descriptions certainly leave a lasting impression. Although, I've found myself reaching for mind bleach occasionally after some of his more vivid depictions of Horner's antics. biggrin

IMO individuals who take on corporations get strung out by the legal teams who are interested in 'billable' hours. A day in court may be some way in the future.

Victory is often very expensive and just pyric eg see Hugh Grant and his Newspaper punch up.

Luckily the interview is competency based and there's a wash basin and towel in his office.
