Race director needs another coffee there. The full SC rather than the virtual, and didn’t close the pit lane when it was clear the stranded car was going to be pushed back down the pit exit.

Another SC. This race director is rather different to his predecessor, who was happy to use the VSC and trust the Monégasque marshals to put the stranded car on a dolly and wheel it away.

As it turned out, Masi could’ve used some practice on the SC procedure. Maybe he should’ve used VSC a little less in hindsight.

Ignoring Abu Dhabi, which was its own total cockup, I thought he was too swayed in favour of the SC towards the end of races, almost as if he’d been given direction from the commercial rights holder to spice up the ‘show’.
