Ooh, pit stops for slicks. Looks rather optimistic!

Stunning from O'Sullivan - 22nd to 4th, including a pitstop.

Both drivers walking out of that nasty looking crash at Blanchimont.

That's a relief. That's one corner where it's a worry whenever there is an incident. I was at Spa in 2001 when Luciano Burti went off there and it was scary stuff.

Not like it needs repeating too much these days, but Maloney must be very grateful for the halo.

Was it Maloney that was waving his finger before that crash? Or was it Stanek?

I said to my gf just before it happened, that 2 cars going flat out and side by side through blanchimont won’t come out the other side…
Stanek , I think. He got his move done without issue. He was finger-wagging as he completed the move. Maloney was on his rear wing.

Well that spiced up a boring sprint race.

This is about to get interesting. The driving had been amazing until the Sargent accident.

Boring but was just thinking about how good the driving standards were.

I was surprised they all got around the first lap!

These sprint races can sometimes get a little stale, when almost everyone has DRS and there’s no strategy options to play. Half the field on soft tyres for 3 or 4 laps should make this one fun.

That was good to watch at the end. Great gamble from Drugovitch to pit out of the points and chase the field down.

A very early start for F3 today, and a safety car already!

Championship leader Martins out already.

What is Felepe Drugovich's plan for next season?

Its a weak f2 field this year and he is a third year enterant. I can't see him getting a drive in f1 even if he wins all the remaining races.

I've been pondering this for a while. Maybe he'll have to look at IndyCar or a series back home in Brazil.

Three years to win F2, he’s another Nyck de Vries, or at best a Mick Schumacher but without the sponsors.

Can’t see where he fits into F1 sadly, he’ll likely end up either in Indy or LMP next season.

Next year will be the youngest F1 field ever, which is going to make it exceptionally difficult to break through into it. Look at Piastri having to take a year out, having won F2 and F3 back-to-back.

I think you can still be considered for f1 as a 2nd year winner but it has to be a dominating year.
