Good use of an empty track by Caldwell. Where will he end up though?

W Series are going to be qualifying by moonlight, aren't they?

It’s just about still light. 19:30 local time.
Much darker than the TV makes it look now - you can see the light from illuminated ad boards and the flag lights reflecting of the track....

Good to see Powell on pole and Chadwick with a challenge tomorrow - a rain affected race tomorrow would be interesting.

...and straight into a Safety Car.

Not a huge surprise; F3 + 1st lap + wet

Track drying really fast - who has treated their tyres nicely?

Not Leclerc, who seems determined to turn his into slicks ASAP.

W Series about to get underway, they’re all on slicks as there’s a dry line and no rain in the air. Rolling start behind the SC, as one side of the grid is wet.
I'd get it for one lap, but why 2 ? And losing race laps/time...

Chadwick making some good moves in tricky conditions.
This series is rather turning into the Jamie Chadwick show, isn’t it? Clearly quicker than anyone else, she needs a drive in a faster car next season.
Anyone else dominating an international F3 series to such an extent would have been in FIA F3 by now, I feel.

Good to see Powell win one.

Chadwick faster, but not enough to matter on a circuit like this.

Both drivers walking out of that nasty looking crash at Blanchimont.

Not like it needs repeating too much these days, but Maloney must be very grateful for the halo.

Was it Maloney that was waving his finger before that crash? Or was it Stanek?

I said to my gf just before it happened, that 2 cars going flat out and side by side through blanchimont won’t come out the other side…
Stanek , I think. He got his move done without issue. He was finger-wagging as he completed the move. Maloney was on his rear wing.

A very entertaining F3 sprint race so far. That gravel is going to claim a lot of victims this weekend.
Only just watched it - very entr=ertaining indeed.

Brilliant drive from Bearman - twice broke free of the DRS train and chased down 1+ second gaps without the aid of DRS himself.

Could have won that without 2 laps too many behind the SC.

They really don't need DRS in F3 at Monza - it will ruin the close racing.

Daruvala just cut right across the front of Doohan and drove him into Sargent, then just carries on undamaged - should be clear penalty.

That's not fair to investigate after the race - Daruvala needs to be penalised "live" so he doesn't mess with the race results - it's just stacking more post-race crap like the F3 finale (though that was unavoidable as the track limits offences all occurred on what turned out to be last lap of the race).
