Will be watching from the grandstands by the swimming pool...can’t wait!
Great spot, have you got allocated seating as front corner is so close to the cars...
Nope, we will have to try and get good seats, this whole trip is my 50th birthday present from my wife , so not complaining at all!
You'll love it.
Not quite there but these should keep HB quiet for a few mins...biggrin

Wonder how danny ric will do this weekend...i mean getting beat by your team mate that is ill is not news...think lewis did it a few years back when he was ill and out qualified bottas.

Praying mercedes have a quick car so we can get a three way fight even if its just qualifying

What year was the start delayed due to the track being wet in the tunnel after a fire in the hotel above it?

Most of Norris' advantage over Ricciardo is in slow speed corners...

I can see Monaco being a bit of a dip for Mercedes too, I reckon most cars on the grid will deal with the gradients, kerbs and traction zones of Monaco better than the Mercedes.

I think that Ferrari are going to be fastest and that any challenge to Red Bull for best of the rest will come from an unlikely source...

I may be wrong on this, but the Ferrari has the best low speed traction and low down torque right?

ISTR they have been observed as being the fastest on the early part of the straights. I don't know why exactly but we can speculate. Good traction seems to be a Ferrari trait from years past.

They also seem to energise the tyres well, with Red Bull appearing to struggle at times this season.

Chain Bear on YouTube came up with a few 'alternative' options to making Monaco a more interesting race:

Skip to 1:50 to miss the sponsors bit at the start.

I'm gonna say Pole will go to someone outside of the top 3 teams; race will be interesting if the weather forecast is to be believed.

I'm sure everyone here has seen it but if not it is worth getting the Blu-Ray of the James Garner film Grand Prix and watching vintage Monaco in all its glory on a big screen with the sound cranked up.

He thinks he's ok;

I definitely haven't seen anything saying he's not and Seidl was convinced he'd be OK earlier in the week, so I think he's racing.
