“Hamilton doesn’t go well here” confused best not mention Charles’ record here then!
A paltry 3 wins. What a loser! smile
Compared to 8 wins at Silverstone and Hungary, 7 wins in Canada...

Monaco is statistically one of his worst tracks.
This is very true.

OP please can you sort out the Sunday on air and session start times.

Your same mistake bugged me in the Spanish thread and I only noticed it on Saturday now I've noticed this on Tuesday!

Apart from that thanks for the info your post.

I can't imagine Monaco particularly suited the previous generation Mercedes with its enormous wheelbase. This year there's not much to choose between the cars in terms of wheelbase is there? Although I seem to remember the Alfa is a bit shorter than most.

That's an interesting point, I guess the red Bull would have been a bit handier around Monaco. He's clearly not too bad with 3 wins smile

I think George Russell will put it on pole and Leclerk is on for the win (or put it in the barrier, have a major mechanical problem, be abducted by aliens, etc.).

Is there any way to collapse the poll at the top of thread - it's way too large & a pain having to scroll past it every time you come back to the thread.
Totally agree, it's spoiling these threads somewhat for me. I can't see that it adds anything at all.
The whole attraction of PH for me is that its free of all this st, its what makes PH totally superior to all other forums imo. smile
Maybe we should have a poll about having a poll?

Hamilton's career as a driver is clearly over, so his name can be retired from the vote.

Remove Perez from the list as well. Only Max is permitted to win in a Red Bull.

Danny Ric couldn't fall off a camel and hit sand. Get rid of him.

Sainz appears to have lost the art of cornering. Bye Carlos.

Seb and Freddo last won a race in 1983. Delete, delete, delete.

That leaves only George, Lando, Max, and Charles. But, as only Max and Charles are winning this season, we might as well drop George and Lando too.

There you have it, Piginapoke, just the two options for the next thread, and look how much easier you've made it for the hard of scrolling. biggrin

To be fair, Max - Charles - Other would be a much more concise poll and produce largely the same results.

Also, another hehe at the suggestion the commentary team might finally let slip where Charles is from.

I'm sure I heard Crofty say he's the only F1 driver ever from mongolia.

Charles for the win. He took pole in an inferior Ferrari and this car seems far better than any other in slow corners and over kerbs. He is driving at a very high level right now. It's really only him or Max for the win.

Only one mistake in a race this year, same as Max though Max got away with it and went on to win.

If Lando is fit I expect him to do well and the slower speed will make it an easier race for him.

Bottas dark horse for a podium.

Maybe we should have a poll about having a poll?
I solved the issue on my desktop - UBlock Origin addon in Firefox & use the Element Picker mode to select the poll & block it.

That sounds like a lot more effort than just scrolling past!

Dullest race of the season coming up, first round the first corner wins. Looks lovely but if any race is worth watching only the start and end of, its Monaco

I'd love LeClerc to do it but the form book would suggest that he'll make an error in Qualifying and stick it in the wall therefore starting too low on the grid to do anything in the race.

Whoever puts it on pole is a very impressive driver indeed. If Monaco was akin to riding a bicycle in your living room 30 years ago, what simile do we use for the new formula cars? Sportsbike in a a hallway?
