If thats the case I hope he moves back into the technical side. I would guess his loyalty to his men meant he wasn't going to be the one to move his workers out that do all the dumb strategy.
Its worth remembering they are the next best performers after red bull. All from the desert oasis in F1 terms of Italy.
What's the uk f1 community done apart from red bull?

The UK based Mercedes team had some modest success in recent seasons.

We are talking about this year. I guess all the other TP's should be sacked apart from Horner based on 2022.
Remember the budget cap so its not like ferrari have been able to chuck 500 million at the season.
Anyway its all probably lies made up by someone bored in the press.

Sacked by their boss who - in a different era yet not that long ago - would have been TP

I have no idea if there is any truth in this, it seems the ideal place to put it in here because it will definitely be a 2023 issue if there is any truth in it.

That has all the hallmarks of a self-perpetuating Twitter myth - can't see any of the reputable feeds carrying anything on it, so wait to be convinced.
Red bull were looking a bit slow this weekend...scratchchin

It’s not just about this year

They spent the last couple of years rebuilding, this was supposed to be the championship year. Instead, they can’t get tyres organised or strategise for toffee.

IF he is chopped, it’ll be because they’ve lost faith in his vision, not because of one years results.

Who will replaced Fred at Alfa/Sauber? Jost Capito would be a good bet, given his VAG connections.

The Vasseur stuff seems to be media led rather than by any real information.

After a stunning start, Alfa Romeo Saubers points tally has totally stalled.

Fred would fit right in at Ferrari.

A lion never re-traces its footsteps. The question is: is Fred the relevant lion, or Ferrari? biggrin

Disappointed to see Mick out and Hulk back.. dunno why either.. just feels like a retrograde step on the grid.

I’d rather see another young up and comer given a go.
