You're going to have to explain to me what is going on in that photo of the motorbike. To my eyes it looks as though it has just had the side stand photoshopped out.
?? You do realise that MotoGP bikes do not have a side stand? The photo looks perfectly okay to me, just come out of a left-hander and accelerating onto the straight. Very fast shutter speed, small field of view so rest is blurry. Excellent photo all told.

Obviously they have a side stand. How else can they park it up at the shops?

Off topic but God moto gp bikes are cool, look at all the movement, action and detail you can see in that one photo. I suppose the rider being so exposed means you can see a lot more, in F1 you can just about see a head bobbing around, its safer for sure but you do lose something hiding the drivers the way we do now.

The only F1 photo I've seen that comes close to showing just how hard the modern car/drivers actually work is this one: most of the time they look so stable its almost boring.
It's a great photo but it's a shame the 2009-2016 cars were oddly proportioned awkward looking things. I won't get started on the 2014 cock-nosed abominations!

I know what you mean, but Fittipaldi left F1 in 1980... smile

As long as it only blows the doors off everyone’s happy.

I guess that they're trying to pick out circuits where there's more chance of action - overtaking/poor weather/combination of the two.

Still not convinced by this whole sprint race idea though.

Good shout on the weather aspect for (most) the races.

Probably needs to be a separate championship.

I think they are good and add so.ething to the event. Drivers seem to mostly like it.

The last quote i heard from a driver, they didnt seem to like it as it puts them in a weird position with keeping the car damage free for the main race and points

I think it was Verstappen who said it

It's not a perfect solution but it's a better watch than FP3

Are they any closer to enabling DRS sooner after a safety car or race start? Could be the saviour of a Baku sprint

Think it’s two laps next year, not three
I like them.
Fridays are better
Saturdays are no worse ( is a sprint better than a time trial? Discuss…..)

Sundays…jury’s out unless there’s a couple of offs in the sprint

Cyril could take Hyundai to F1, wild off-season speculation or is there something to it?

Could they cram any more speculation into one article?

With China relaxing Covid restrictions could the Chinese GP still make return on the 2023 calendar? Asking for a friend.
