but the anti Naomi brigade and thread I find odd.
Me tooShe’s a natural presenter, seems to get on with the other presenters & drivers and aside from Damon, Ant & Martin is the only team member with any sort of racing experience
I wonder why Rachel & Natalie dont have seperate threads though

The thing is though, she is not a presenter. She is employed as a pundit as if racing obscure tin tops and getting dropped as a driver from W Series (a series that wasn't overrun with talent...) makes her even remotely qualified. It comes across on screen too because most of what she says is just generic waffle with errors thrown in.She’s a natural presenter, seems to get on with the other presenters & drivers and aside from Damon, Ant & Martin is the only team member with any sort of racing experience

What irks me is that Sky are pretty blatantly treating her as the lead pundit, having her stood central next to Simon throwing questions primarily to her while Brundle / Rosberg / Davidson / Chandhok / Di Resta / Hill / Herbert stand to the side in the secondary pundit role even though they all have what Schiff doesn't, actual top level racing experience, when it really should be the other way round.
Rachel & Natalie don't have dedicated threads because they are presenters and both have considerable experience in doing it too. They aren't blatant tokens designed to fill a quota they actually serve a purpose. They interview the drivers & present the programming, they don't pretend to be experts though.

Looks like they even stopped posting during the closed season for F1 and then bang on time for the first weekend they're straight back to it
Naomi Schiff is a weak pundit, along with Danica Patrick. Both seem eager to have their say but little in substance.
On the otherhand Jamie Chadwick has been great on 5Live. She makes points that only race drivers would know even if her experience isn't at top international level. At Imola last year she said that she could tell by the way Russell was driving he was about to pit.

I find Danica a great addition, a female driver that raced at a high level for years and did well. She wasn't Lewis Hamilton, but she had a very respectable career and worked with some top engineers in very quick racing cars.On the otherhand Jamie Chadwick has been great on 5Live. I thought Naomi was OK at first, but she talks nonsense a lot and adds nothing for me, she likes throwing in the "as a racing driver" line a lot, which she really wasn't, she was playing at it compared to the pro's she is talking to/about.
If she stuck to facts, rather than making stuff up when she doesn't know, she could improve. She jumps in to questions put to someone else too often too, i dont know how Rosberg kept a straight face this weekend.
I hope she improves, because it's clear she is going nowhere. Rachel Brooks is the one that needs more screen time, she is very good at her job. Pinks i just find dull, but then i'm not interested in fashion or false eyelashes.
