It's quite incredible how much resistance this pair of images is getting from the Hamilton fan club.

everyone else seems to be able to race around Copse, oh that was Hamilton's fault
Hamilton and Lerclerc demonstrated, both this year and last, that it is indeed possible to race around Copse.
Yeah, it works well when Lewis isn’t driving off to the grandstands hehe

You presumably think you’re being clever with your selective pictures. Try looking at the pictures from Max’s car which shows Lewis fully alongside Max whose steering wheel is at 90 degrees and turning straight into him. At that point Lewis either hit him or he backed off. He backed off to try and avoid Max’s manoeuvre which was intent on taking him out. It was one of many attempts that season when Max tried to take Lewis out but was the only one that backfired badly on him. All 50g’s worth and fully deserved to someone who remains a menace on the track, as we saw on Sunday with MSC.
It's never Lewis fault, he still got a penalty for it, so we will blame the stewards aswell for that one. Same old tosh from like minded posters. boring

Wow, if evidence were needed, this is why you can't have a normal discussion on PH about F1.

Verstappen was robust in his defense against Mick just as every other driver is on the grid. If any drivers knows that every point counts in F1 its Max and Lewis. Why would he want to give points away? Why would any driver worthy of a seat in F1 wave a car through?
If you really don't understand why Max was happy to crash into Hamilton at Copse, you're on the wrong forum. rolleyes

There's blind and then there's stupid.

As usual with this sort of stuff, that would put me off in the future, regardless of the event, but most people seem happy to deal with it
I've not been back for F1 since I spent an entire Saturday in a traffic jam.

It's a great circuit but the fans have the piss taken out of them in a way that would never happen at most other circuits.

5 minutes reading about the spectator experience at Spain would suggest there are similar/worse issues elsewhere (traffic, hour queues for drinking water etc), Paul Ricard is unlikely to be pretty either.

Catalunya is a dreadful circuit to visit. Awful facilities, thugs at the gate to confiscate drinks (and unlicensed inside the circuit now), Micky Mouse track, and quite awkward to get to.
