Johnny Herbert showing again on the F1 Show that he's not very bright. Karun's face is like "WTF is this guy on about"

He's the one person of the Sky team that I don't like and ALSO can't understand who on earth he appeals to confused

I don't like Croft either but I understand that to muppets his nonsense is acceptable and his enthusiasm useful to remind those that are a bit dim to wake up and pay attention for a minute.

But Herbert..? I don't get it at all. Seems like excess blubber that Sky could easily boot out and save a few quid.

Crofty at the press conference with Albon, Ricciardo and Bottas, asking a question about the now vacant Aston Martin drive.

To be fair Ricciardo would be on for a pay cut so I doubt it would interest him. He'll ride the McLaren gravy train as long as possible.

It’s not that far fetched, they have reliable cars and are quick enough to be”best of the rest” when Red Bull or Ferrari falter, Lewis likes the track and historically runs very well here.

It's unrealistically high every week. Wishful thinking.

That’s really cool!

But I would say that, as a middle-aged man with too much Lego still in the house, looking at a Porsche 911, a Porsche RSR, a Saturn V rocket, and a space station on the shelves of my study! #BigBoysToys

Max says he "prefers" his rivalry with Ferrari and Charles Leclerc to the World Championship battle he had with Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes last season.

Yup, cos it's easier for him biggrin

.....because the huge gulf is not exposing the c h i n k s in his armour that led to Max parking his car on Lewis' head, running Lewis 6 car widths off the track, brake testing Lewis when he was right behind him and damaging Lewis' aero. Then, having to process and legitimise to himself the final ignominy of having to have the rule book thrown out by Masi in order to manipulate the WDC* his way...

"Prefers 2021 to be forgotten" was probably the thought that never reached his his lips.

Agreed, lets be honest nobody else is winning the WDC this year but I hope Mercedes can get things together for next year and really get in the mix.

And the counterpoint, Bottas taking out Max in Hungary, Hamilton putting him in the wall at Copse, Hamilton not giving the place back in AD..... we could go on but let's not biggrin

Presumably, Hamilton would have to have been required to give the place back, having been offered no alternative other than taking avoiding action when Verstappen divebombed him but was not required to do so by the stewards. Anyway...however one sees it, I hope that Merc is able to come back to being competitive, but what I hope for most of all is that if and when they do, Verstappen will fight with Hamilton cleanly as he has been doing with LeClerc this season.

Christ can we either move on from 2021 OR use the well trodden 2021 thread for discussion on that topic?
