I reckon this thread has got most of those.
It is really odd isn't it? Usually in sports when the rules aren't applied correctly and your "team" loses, people say "ah well such is life" and move on. And when your team loses because another team cheats, normally people just say "well they cheated and won, what can you do..."

See for example the Olympics, cycling etc...

Oh, no, wait a minute...

Olympics… the athletes themselves are calling cheating. The organisation strips drug cheats of medals and presents them to the clean athlete they beat.
Cycling… Lance Armstrong, no such much “ah well such is life” and move on. It took a while but they nailed his arse.
Football… Maradona, still talked about. Players diving, feigning injury, falling over at the slightest touch.. moaned about and hated by fans all the time.
F1 is different as to a lot of the fans, probably old school fans, it’s all encompassing. The racing is just one facet. The strategy, the team mate rivalry, the in season development… all part of the spectacle. On top of all that, The Rules. Maybe they’re just not important to newer fans, maybe it’s just racing. Maybe, as long as their man (whoever it is) wins so what if the rules are not strictly applied…. At All Times.

Short memories about what? The cost cap farce was just a few weeks ago. I may be older than some, but not yet senile.

It's in reference to fknugget Spice's comments around AD last year, when he said race fans have short memories.

So the same as RB breaking the cost cap then. Apart from the punishment for her is bigger than them, if this is related.

I am surprised that the parent company hasn’t yet stepped in and told the team to stop digging draper holes, given the repetitional damage to the brand globally.
What exactly is red bulls reputation? Serious question, I mean a lot of the grid and assoc sponsors get by trying to flog every more unecessary and ugly rubbish to people who try to believe they're socially conscious, so image is everything, but red bull??
Reputational damage is the concept of a brand name being tarnished by a negative ‘high profile event’ in the media.

Typically, at the corporate management level, any large institution, like a Bank, Fuel Company, or in this case a Beverage company will directly look to minimise the reputational risk of association with their brand name to the negative event.

Hence, as someone who works in that arena, I was surprised they hadnt attempted to close down the issue.

There certainly was the cheating by Red Bull to see here. It became very apparent.

What are you saying?

Let's say she did release the details, would you have rather they had been covered up? If you are, that speaks more about your mindset than hers.

If she was responsible, why did she release the details if the FIA were going to be transparent anyway? What prompted her to release details that were going to be released anyway?

Maybe I am wrong, but if there is cheating I want to know about it...I do not like cheating by anyone.

let's not even mention Mercedes having the info to be able to have extra floor supports ready to go the day they were announced as a rule change.

Oh, so Red Bull complained that she might be sympathetic to someone other than Red Bull.

How unsurprising.

Horner and RBR used to complain constantly that the other teams were critical of their dominance when they were winning in the Vettel years.

Then Horner had the unnatural hots for Mercedes when they were the ones who had the advantage.

Now we are back to the former.
