Round 21 and we’re in Brazil, where Lewis’ spicy engine was unstoppable last year. Only two rounds left, so let’s enjoy the racing- it’ll soon be 105 days with no F1.

Brazil usually throws up a few surprises, and Mercedes’ form will be interesting to see as it tries to set a direction for 2023. I imagine though the RB18 will be unstoppable around Interlagos. A Max win for me, although surely Ferrari can't be as poor again as Mexico.

Remember it’s a Sprint race, the last of the season.

Here’s to a great race.

Thanks Mr Poke!

I'm hoping for a mercedes do or die and a result for them, but logically it's got to be redbull...

Ferrari have seamlessly imploded.

Really looking forward this one. It’s my favourite circuit of the current crop. I really hope Lewis pushes Max about 5 car widths off track at some stage.

Love this track. Can’t wait!

I want a Mercedes win but don’t think it will happen.

Voted for Max, however, Hamilton goes like the clappers around this circuit where no doubt the engine will be turned up full again.

Looking forward to it!

I really want a ‘send it’ effort from Merc at this one, unfortunately if the RB get out in front and nothing unusual happens, it may not be caught

Thank you as always, PiaP!

I do love Brazil. Fingers crossed for another cracking race! I'd love to see Lewis keep his season's of winning going here, but I don't hold out a huge amount of hope.

Since we haven't had too many curveballs this year, let's go with a wet first lap crash for the top teams, with Norris or Alonso mopping up! biggrin

Surely do-or-die for Lewis this race, take his least-used engine and turn it up to 11, to either win or blow up? That’s some win-every-year record to keep running.

Hopefully RB will take their eye off the ball, with the championships decided and what must be financial worries in the background.

I am loving the optimism here for Lewis, but when it comes to voting, my finger heads towards Max. His car is significantly superior and that is what wins races.

I do hope that I am wrong.

Assume Verstappen will win.

No reason they won’t turn his engine up to 11 - RBR would love to deny Hamilton a race win I’m sure. Gets my vote.

Weather sounds like it may play a role

A Max win for me. Merc will need more than a spicy engine this time to be in with a shot.

Just seen this:

"Hamilton was officially declared an honorary citizen of Brazil at the Chamber of Deputies. Arthur Lira, president of the Chamber of Deputies, made a reference in his speech to the finale of the 2021 Formula One season. Lira stated that Hamilton was "robbed" and addressed him as an "eight-time world champion", much to the delight of the Mercedes driver and those present in the room."

So, will CheatBull be refusing to race in Brazil biggrin

If it rains and they are able to race in it (I fear we will be watching tarmac dry yet again) then I feel Lewis could have a chance. If it's straight onto inters or slicks then it's Max's for the taking.

Has there ever been a Grand Prix that the weather hasn't played a role? smile

Some light rain would work nicely.

Thanks as ever PIAP ...

I've gone Lewis just because I'd like to see him get one this year and hopefully a little rain will even things up.

Max will win though!
