Ding Ding, it’s the last stop for round 22, Abu Dhabi.

Brazil was a great race; it was good to see Mercedes getting on top of the 2022 car at last, this all bodes well for a much closer 2023. The main interest this weekend will be whether Max helps Perez to second place in the WDC, he certainly put the team in an awkward position last weekend, and whether Hamilton can break his 2022 duck.

I think the circuit suits Ferrari, and so I'm predicting a return to form and a Leclerc win, but Hamilton always goes well here so you never know.

Thanks to all for your contributions over the season, it’s certainly never dull biggrin

Here’s to a great race.

Thank you again Mr Poke, a year of sterling service for the good of the PH F1 fans. angel

I have a feeling normal service will be resumed here, with the order being RB, Merc then Ferrari - seems unlikely mercedes have completely unlocked the cars potential.

Of course the main event is going to be the MV / SP show...

Voted for Hamilton.

At least Masi can't cheat him out of it this year.

Thanks again, PIAP.

Allways look forward to your pre-race thread.

Going for another Russell win, as I voted for him last week.

Gotta be Hamilton. If anyone can leave it till the last minute for a win it's him.

Not going this year, but amazingly it was completely sold out months ago. I’ve already had my 2023 ticket registration invite, back in October!

Mercedes to continue their dominance from Brazil, with Red Bull worried about the accountants and Ferrari worried about the strategy?

I wonder if this year's thread will get to 500 pages scratchchin

I reckon it would still be going if it hadn't been locked.

I just hope you are right. But I fear the Red Bulls have such a straight line speed that they will disappear up the road.. I mean they might crash into each other and let the Mercs in with a shout....

Why? What happened last year?

George will win btw, he’s got his ticker fired up and wants to finish on a high.

It will be fascinating to see if Mercedes' performance holds up here. If it does, it bodes extremely well for them next season; if they're miles behind Redbull again it could well be that their recent surge in form is primarily down to the circuit conditions. My gut feeling is that Redbull will have a healthy lead, but it's very hard to judge.

I've voted Max, as he has good form of outclassing Lewis at this circuit.
