Yes, sorry I should've added them. North walked away, one slight limp. Looked lie the Halo helped here, as one car went underneath the other.
Race just about to restart - oh, I spoke to soon, Red flagged after one lap behind the safety car.
Too much rain, too little visibility.
Glad they walked away, the introduction of the Halo has certainly highlighted how many times accidents came close to a driver being hit on the head. I will admit to not liking it, but it’s better than more head injuries or worse. Race just about to restart - oh, I spoke to soon, Red flagged after one lap behind the safety car.

I see they abandoned it completely. Not a good afternoon again, we didn’t used to stop everything until the track was nearly dry.
Just watched the not-race replay.
What it made me think is that F1 etc. need a better solution for getting a race done in the wet.
Since everyone agrees the problem is visibility, i think they should do the race, do a standing start, but set the cars off at fixed intervals of say 5 seconds. It would then be an ‘aggregate’ race where track position isn’t necessarily finishing position… I know that some would argue it’d be a bit confusing, but we’d a) get to see the drivers facing teh challenge of the wet weather b) actually have races run when its rainy c) stop wasting everybody’s time.
