When do we start talking about Albon getting another shot at a big team?
Think he's driving himself into replacing Perez and a 2nd shot at the RB seat if they skip Danny Ricc.
Dominated Latifi by the same margin as Russell last year and is pretty effortlessly dealing with a highly rated Sargeant.
Hard to forget how much he struggled at RB though.Think he's driving himself into replacing Perez and a 2nd shot at the RB seat if they skip Danny Ricc.

Why does everyone rate Zac at McLaren so highly? Been going backwards for several seasons now.
He's not team principal so this cluster fk is on Seidl if anything.I've said before that Seidl knew how bad the car was this year and jumped ship before people had an opportunity to start pointing fingers at him while his stock was high. Clever by him.

Really enjoyable qualifying session i thought. Constantly evolving with a few twists and turns, Hulkenberg and Albon doing a great job. Alonso show Lance where he really is. David Croft totally unable to see Verstappen’ s first Q3 lap was woeful and there was a clear 0.5-0.8 sec improvement in it for free.

Or be able to notice that Verstappen’s final Q3 lap was a banger….GiantCardboardPlato said:

He said it's a good first time and the track is evolving or words to that effect. Compared it to last year's best time which was the all out record (not surprising given it was a new faster track)I didn't hear any indication that it was the best possible.

Yeah, but it was a st first time, not a good first time, Max made 3-4 mistakes on that lap visible from watching from the external cameras (i.e. big mistakes). He had a snap of oversteer out of turn three, he clouted a kerb early in sector two, he ran deep somewhere in there too, and then he had to get off the power slightly coming out of the second part of the fast kink in sector three (turn 11?). It was a visibly mistake ridden lap, not a good lap for the track conditions. I didn't hear any indication that it was the best possible.
