Recently listened to the Albon BTG podcast. Sounded like he's got a done deal with someone.

So he’s either going to Mercedes allowing Kimi Antonelli into the WIliams, or he’s going back to the the bear pit alongside MV.

I guess AM is also a possibility if Alonso retires - but there’s still the rumours of Max leaving RB for Mercedes or Aston after all the goings-on and failings-out in the leading team.

This silly season is going to be a lot sillier than last year’s!

Edit: and we also have the other thread running about Sainz being at a loose end. He could well end up at Merc or RB or AM as well. A lot of moving parts, with Fred Vasseur the only TP happy with his driver lineup sorted for ‘25. Toto has a lot of drivers wanting Lewis’s old seat, as will Larry if Alonso retires. As for Horny, shall we say he has other things to think about at the moment?

Good for Hulk. Zhou presumably out? Shame for him, I think he was doing a pretty creditable job.

If Sainz joins Audi then that leaves poor old Bottas is looking for a drive too.

Rather confidently reported by Andrew Benson at the BBC this time rather than the usual hearsay merchants

It's a loss but providing the team he has mentored over the years stays, it's not insurmountable for Red Bull. He has bred a division of similar thinkers and the car is good for this year and next.

Longer term... depends on Max, etc

He'll be there a season or two, then end up racing in another formula then.
