The VF23 had quite big boxy sidepods, I think it was from following the Ferrari 'bathtub' design. This looks more Red Bull, with the high intake and rounder sides.
You'd expect car design to converge on what works through the years so a lot of Red Bull-alikes on the grid won't be a surprise sadlyMark-C said:

You'd expect car design to converge on what works through the years so a lot of Red Bull-alikes on the grid won't be a surprise sadlyPlenty of effort would have gone into understanding why exactly last year’s Red Bull was a total rocketship.
Wouldn't mind seeing some yellow back on the grid, everything is looking too dark the last few years. Wonder if teams consult each other or the FOM/whoever when coming up with their liveries? It would look awful if mercedes came out with a black car, along with Haas, Alpine, Williams dark blue and Aston Martin, very dark green, sauber, grey, for example.

Ever since Toto said that going from the silver car to the black one reduced the weight of paint and stickers from 6kg to 3.5kg, and that was the easiest 2.5kg he’d ever taken out of the weight of a car, it was inevitable that everyone else would be lining up to not paint their cars as much as the sponsors would let them get away with it! I think at some point the broadcasters are going to want a word, if the commentators and cameramen can’t easily distinguish the cars from each other.
