Superb day, really good to do something different, thanks to all at PH smile

Just wish I'd been able to stay and look at the abbey too, the house and the SEO were amazing. The museum was pretty good too, but the TG stuff was shockingly bad. Anyone read the info bit by the cars? "This is the actual...", every single time!

I'd go back again, deffo. I bet the grounds are stunning in the summer.

Got there at 11:30, barely anyone there. Too late for everyone? Had to pay full price too! Luckily someone gave me their ticket so worked out the same price but still annoying.

Did the SEO bit then went home. Bit disappointing tbh.

Big thanks to PH, Dunlop and Beaulieu for a great morning. A nice local SS for us so we were there smack on 9am to make the most of the morning looking around, first time in the museum for me and really enjoyed it. The family agreed it was the best SS they had been to.

Only thing missing was the bacon and sausage butties!

But a big thumbs up to all involved though.

One of my favourites seeing as it shared a badge with mine.......

And mine of course.........

Really? Seemed busy enough around 11:30. I was there until about 15:00. Not disappointing at all, I thought it was a really good day, everyone arrive in mass at 9:00 which was great to see. A huge convoy through the forest. Technically the times are 9:00 to 12:00, so you can blame people for leaving at 11:30!

What's SEO? By the way?

Museum and grounds were superb, as usual. And a really good selection of cars from the PH members.

Thanks to all involved.

Got there at 12.00 and there were more cars there than I thought there would be. Drove from Coventry to Reading and then to Beaulieu but worth it for such a nice setting. Free drink a good touch too.

Great morning, well organised, great chat with a few (apologies not good with remembering names), shame we missed the convoy from Rownhams, we were running later than planned so went straight there. Ditto the bacon butty comment above wink

Excellent day as always, some nice cars on display. Enjoyed the James Bond section. Nice drive home too and it didn't rain!

Best SS yet for me in terms of what's actually there to do in addition to all the PH folk. The museum was utterly fantastic and it was awesome seeing all of the Top Gear challenge cars/boats/trains/rocket ships!

Well worth the combined 4 hour journey! biggrin

I'll post some photo's to Flikr in the next few days and will post the links on my profile!

A big thanks to Dunlop, Beaulieu and Pistonhheads for a fab Sunday service. Much appreciated and very well organised. My lad absolutely loved the place and I have to agree!

Another bonus was the lack of traffic on the roads today, in both directions. Clearest roads I can remember for a long time. Hopefully I didn't get snapped by any "safety" cameras!
