Love Goodwood FOS, never been to a SS before. The list of cars going looks interesting, what's the itinerary for the day, have breakie, check out the motors and blast home?

Car's in hibernation now so won't be attending this one. Just wanted to say thank you to Mr G and his team for organising all the Sunday Services this year - they've all been fantastic!

Just a suggestion for future...why not ask each attendee to throw a fiver in a bucket and all the proceeds go to a different charity at each SS? Just a thought, as I get a lot of enjoyment out of these meetings and it doesn't feel right not to be giving something in return.

Or is that just me? smile
I think this is a great idea, id happily donate to a good cause as a sign of appreciation to all who dedicate their time i to make these events happen..

cheers Jamie

Will there be the normal overflow car park for those who attend in a daily driver tintop?
This would be the norm for a breakfast club.

Thanks
Steve

Not for SS I believe as the fields could potentially be very waterlogged.

If a chap in your position can't find something interesting to come in then you are not allowed to turn up biggrin

Thanks for all the kind comments, we're pleased you enjoy the events. Always wonder how we'll be able to repeat it for another year yet (somehow) it always seems to happen. Hope to see you all again in 2014.

So, answers to a few Q's

Goodwood has set capacity at 750 so we'll have to assume no overflow or they would have increased that number initially. 750 is a big meet though so we should have plenty of room

No segregation. If you arrive in a 250SWB you'll be parked in the same manner as an Astra diesel. Arrive in what you like

Format is simple. Park, wander, stare, have breakfast and head home when ready. Easy smile

See you in a couple of weeks

Oh...charity donations. Yeah, maybe. I'd insist they were voluntary though as a free event is important to me, and we'll choose a charity for the year not per event. Nice idea.

Was late for the last one, looking forward to this one. I may wash the car this time as it's meant to be silver wink

The plan would be then to find a nice pub to go for lunch with the Mrs, recommendations?

Goodwood has it's own pub, The Richmond Arms which is part of Goodwood Hotel or The Mulberry down the road in chiddingfold is very good and one of my favourites in the area.

Looking forward to this Sunday Service, I haven't been able to make it along to many this year, Goodwood is a great venue and it should be an excellent final meet of 2013.

I don't wish to sound too 'Mumsnet' but if i have my car on the start/finish area and need to leave early - will i be able to?

I only ask as the only way i can attend is if i bring my 3yo Son, and he isn't likely to last 4/5 hours.
