Any remaining problems, do call the Vulcan tours office on 0845 124 7285 if possible before 16:00 today please. Should be a great event. See you there!

Richard, I haven't received an email but called that number now and left a voice message with car details and mobile number - hope that's OK

Looking forward to the event!

I couldn't get through on that number but found another ( 01302 776410 ) on the e-mail that I received when I first booked. - Spoke to someone there and got it all sorted (they just needed my car's registration number) so that's what I'd suggest anyone else do if you're not sure.

On a side note; just been watching some of the Vulcan clips on Youtube. Goosebumps. yikesthumbup

It's going to be an early start from Kent but looking forward to it.

Anyone else heading up from Southern parts?

My 320D hasn't been washed all winter and I'd hate to spoil a good weekend by doing so!

Should be leaving south London around 6.30am tomorrow, so the Cayman will get a proper run at last.

I'm heading up from south of Derby if anyone wants to travel up in convoy? Subject to weather conditions, I am likely to travel up the A1 route rather than the M1 (& the A614 that links up to the A1). See you tomorrow otherwise thumbup

I'm from Derby but I suspect you'll want to go a little faster than my Land Rover...hehe

Do we need to print off the form that's been emailed out?

Also it says don't arrive more than 15 mins early, will that not be difficult for some coming from a distance? Pretty sure I'd be making 'good progress' on a Sunday morning wink

I think you just need the reference code, but better safe than sorry and all that. As for the time, I think that just applies for a 'normal' day, as we're all arriving earlier for bacon and chatting, we'll be there quite a bit earlier than the actual tour.

As for convoying, if you see a Blue 350Z with smilies on the side windows, get my attention and I'll try and fall in line!

I couldn't tell if it meant for the tour or arriving to park, but yeah that probably makes sense

Clivey, I'm meeting my passenger at McDs at the A52/A38 junction at 09.15 & will leave at about 09.30. If we don't see you at McDs look out for us on the way up. ...my little dark blue Italian mistress has smilies fore & aft biggrin

I'm bringing my Dad (he used to live near RAF Leuchars & watch when they were in service) so have to pick him up from North of Derby before I head up to Doncaster...If I don't see you on the way up, I'll see you there. Look-out for this:

I thought Reading to there and back was a big effort but I think that wins! Really looking forward to this, not looking forward to needing to be in the car around 7am!

I shouldn't have gone out last night. My head hurts.

Keep a look out for a blue Mini Cooper S.

See you soon.
