The red golf GTI, sorry it must be a pain finding footage, but would really appreciate it!
Here you go! Sorry it's a bit fleeting but a little snippet to prove you were there. Hopefully others have some additional footage.

Cheers,

Thanks PH & Silverstone for a great SS.
Some gorgeous machines there. Much exotica and muscle. And a Bubble Car!
I take it that the Enzo belonged to 04helipilot. Glad you made it up the list, considering where you started!
Did you all check out the stock-looking white (grey?) Morris Minor?
Very neat installation of the Ford twin cam, obviously a labour of much love and man-maths.
What a Q-car!
Like others, I also got put off by the queue for hot food, but you could go straight to the coffee machine, so I settled for coffee & cookies for brekky, thinking I would have a fry-up later, for early lunch. But they had stopped serving. Ho-hum.
A van in the car park is always better.smile

And Antony Fraser got some stills of you too!

Great session at 9am! I was driving the red Noble - 16'16" on the video.
Really courteous driving by all, novice and experienced alike.
Lovely noble you have there - I remember chatting to you at the elvetham heath show last year and being quite jealous of it then as well!

Didn't see much of you on track - we must have been circulating on opposite sides of the track the whole session..

Paul.
Hi Paul, yes indeed we meet at Elvetham Heath show. I intended to wonder over for a chat on Sunday when you weren't busy, but didn't get the chance. Soz frown
I had you in my sights on track, but ran out of laps (and brakes!) to reel you in. The M3 was going well too, from what I could see. Hopefully should see you in the distance from our in-car footage, once my son gets it organised.

I wish I hadn't cancelled my spot now. :-(

Question: I assume the track sessions were run under usual trackday rules, e.g. no under-16 passengers?

Fantastic fantastic day. smile Weather couldn't have been more perfect and the track was brilliant.

I was the black Exige in the 11:20 session. I have a full session video which I need to stick together and edit a bit, but there's some decent footage and I will have caught pictures of I think most people on the session.

Particular regards to:

The black 3 series convertible - awesome cornering attitudes, looked like a barrel of laughs. smile

The AMG estate - Sorry if I held you up... My god that engine. smile

Nice one, I was in the grey M5 in your session, I wanted to race round with you but by the time we met on track, I had done 10 laps and 1850kg had taken its toll on the brakes, so I needed a couple of cool down laps. Stealth black 3 series convert - mental !

Thanks for that - that's Junior & I in the GT2! Sounds good from the outside - it sounded quite quiet from the inside, so we wound the windows down, resulting in a Back Flag quite early on!!! The marshal was quite cool about though thankfully., but we did have to have the windows at least 3/4 up....
Doesn't sound quite so quiet from that vid! tongue out

BTW, I'm reasonably sure that you've really got a quad turbo and supercharged re-map in that Z4M sixspeed !!! biggrin
I've been ever so tempted by an ESS supercharger for far too long on this car, but it's more than quick enough, and I've done 88,000 trouble free miles in it (which I couldn't be so sure of if it were 'charged), and there's still much more that could be done from the chassis and handling point of view, not to mention the driver!

A big thank you to Pistonheads for organising this SS, easily the best one I've been to.
Seconded!

Yeah, the Exige felt like it could go all day, no fade, no drama just tidy laps... shame about my driving really. tongue out

Bit late to this but thanks to all for turning up, what a great event!

I was late as a sneaky unmarked Police Focus pulled me over for a chat...nearly 35 mins at the roadside. Ouch.

Anyway, great to talk to those I did and thanks for all the TVR owners chatting to me and for the positive comments on the noise my car makes. I didn't stay too long as I had arranged lunch with some friends (we all left together, Diable, Gallardo etc with me at the rear!).

See you at the next one.

Video is processing now. Am only on a tethered phone connection though, so will probably take the rest of the afternoon to upload. smile You're definitely on it though!

Hello Guys
I'm Paris and I was the driver of my mates Matt Black 325 Convertible. It was my first time on pistonheads Sunday service.
Fantastic day. I really enjoyed. I’m really sorry if I was holding anyone up.

For those in the 11:55 session, here's the full session recorded from onboard my car.... sorry about the wind noise. http://www.vimeo.com/89344230

If anyone has any trackside recordings of the session, I'd like to hear the drive-by noise smile

Hello Paris,
I was also in the 1120 session in my grey MX5. I believe I was near you for a time.

You certainly weren't holding me up, in fact I should apologise in case I held you back at all!

I have a full on-board video of the session recorded on a borrowed gopro, I expect it will get edited and stuck online soon. I'll let you all know!

That black Exige looked bloody brilliant on track, completely planted and some very high cornering speeds. I have a real soft spot for those cars and I should commend your courteous driving despite being a damn sight quicker than me.

Also, did I hear very loud music coming from the black BMW 325 or was i imagining things?

Ooh, bad luck Garlick. Yes, we heard you lot leaving from over at the mound watching the circuit action, and I kicked myself for not being nearer to watch! Hope the journey back was less eventful (though I doubt it in that convoy!)

P.S My mate with the Silver Golf 5 is looking forward to see your video.
